They look great.I bought one pair and had issues. I left a review and the company replaced them. The 2nd set had issues as well. The company replaced that set as well. So out of 6 I had 3 working very well. Then I started messing with the other 3. After many different weeks it comes down to this: the batteries. They come with a AA sized rechargeable rated at 700mah. On the "bad" ones I changed them out for 2400mah and once they got 2 good days of sun they have been working great ever since.So if yours are not that great, pull the battery (ez to do, just pull the little bumpers off the bottom and screws are under them.) Get some good rechargeable like Eneloop (Panasonic) and you should be golden.The company has stood behind their product. They were very good in responding to my review and I thank them for that.To the manuf. I recommend:#1 a timer that shuts them off 4, 6 or 8 hours after they turn on#2 better batteries. At least 1500 mah.

The media could not be loaded.  These are so cool! They are made of plastic so they’re light weight and can be hung anywhere pretty easily. They have big solar panels to hold power. We don’t get a lot of direct sunlight in our backyard and yet when we turned them on at night, these ran for 3.5 hours before stopping. There is an on of switch so you don’t have to leave them on all the time. The “flame” looks pretty real too! Very pleased!

I purchased two of these to replace two more traditional looking solar lamps in the garden area in front of my house. They have been through 3 days of torrential rain without any noticeable decrease in performance. Brighter than the lamps they replaced and a little smaller. I really like the flame effect but I can also understand if some folks may prefer a more traditional lighting. They turn on at night and are still going when I go to bed around 11pm. One night I happened to wake at 2am and they were still on! So far I’m impressed and they appear very durable. The cost was quite reasonable, especially compared to the value received.

I left them in direct sun for over three days - to chatge them. At first, they would not work. Eventually after more sunlight - I gott them to turn on. Gorgeous, for 10 - 15 minutes! Then it would go out. Other times they would just flicker and I could not get them on! The one time I had the ten minutes, it was gorgeous! How unfortunate that they were a failure!

I bought 1 box (with 2 lanterns) and because I loved them so much, I bought another box. The lanterns from second box had brighter light, than the first ones I received. They are still very nice with real like fire-y light. The 2 from the first box however do NOT light up anymore, I'm not sure why, I just hope it's gonna work again. They are on the sunlight as well, so I don't know where the problem is. That's the only reason why I put 4 stars. Other than that, I'm really in love with these lanterns! :)

The media could not be loaded.  Got them later in the day so put them out right away not expected them to work but they’d get a full day tomorrow to charge. They came right on and look authentic (flame-like). Very nice product and the clip seems sturdy although I’m not using them to hang where I put them. Highly recommend

Works terrific, but one of mine stopped working after about two months. The other one continues to glow for several hours and looks great.

The dancing flames looks so real! Allow the lanterns to sit directly in the sun during the day. I had some difficulty getting them to charge properly on my screened porch. But once I moved them to direct sunlight during the day they charged up just fine. I also found that they seemed to charge better during the day if I moved the switch to "on" but I don't know if that is my imagination. I plan to buy three more sets for relatives for Christmas!
