Alba Botanica Fragrance Free Mineral Sunscreen with SPF 30, 118ml

The best sunscreen I’ve used till date. It has 12% zinc which is great for my skin. Feels like I have nothing on my skin. Light and fragrance free.

Mineral Sunscreen as the name suggested creates a barrier between the sun and your skin.Doesn't leaves a prominent whitish cast, a minute or two of rubbing will let it absorbed by skin.Is on oilier side, need to touch up with powder after application.Is waterproof. And is tough to wash off( most mineral sunscreens are).Some acne did sprout few times on my face. The reason could be blocked pores as I was not particular about removing sunscreen off the face.Medicinal smell which fades gradually after application.

Its a good mineral sunscreen for the price. Did not leave too much of a white cast compared to other mineral sunscreens. However I dont like the fact that it contains silicones.

I have used this brand before and it was recommended by my dermatologist.

Me encantó, es súper hidratante pero no se siente pesado, si deja ligeramente brillosita la cara pero no como grasosa, más bien un brillo saludable no deja residuo blanco para nada una vez que lo masajeas y le das un minuto para absorberse y soy de piel morena, además de que es completamente mineral. No sé si sea ideal para el verano o pieles muy grasas, pero para mixtas y secas es el mejor.

I bought this for the first time this year (2022) but so wish I’d found it before now. My eyes puff up, sting and water so badly with most sunscreens even those ones that say they’re for sensitive skin or babies. I’ve tried an enormous range of sunscreens for sensitive skin and paid a ridiculous amount of money trying to get one that doesn’t make me want to tear out my eyeballs! I thought I’d try this and it’s fabulous. Yes, it’s a bit tricky to rub in - but it does eventually (tip - put your moisturiser on first, let it absorb then put this on - goes on much easier than straight on to dry skin). Yes, it leaves a temporary white cast but just don’t use too much, rub it in well, and it will sink in after a short while. No, it doesn’t go on silky smooth like chemical creams and it’s a bit of a faff - but if you have sensitive skin or eyes this works and works really well. It leaves a kind of lovely moisturised matte finish once the cream has settled (and the white cast does disappear). No real scent, no reactions, very effective. I’m really so glad and relieved I found it. 5*.

Premettendo che il mio tipo di pelle è mista con tendenza acneica, ho veramente adorato questo prodotto. Pur essendo una crema solare minerale si applica decentemente anche sotto al makeup e non secca né irrita la pelle. Ho notato un miglioramento generale anche della produzione di sebo oltre che alla riduzione di sfoghi e imperfezioni (nb. il prodotto non pubblicizza questi effetti in particolare ma personalmente questo è ciò che ho riscontrato).L'unico difetto è che ho ricevuto la vecchia edizione del packaging e non la nuova delle foto ma onestamente nonj è stato un problema e sono più che soddisfatta.Assuming that my skin type is combination and also prone to acne, I really loved this product. Even though it is a mineral sunscreen, it applies decently even under makeup and does not dry or irritate the skin. I noticed a general improvement also about the production of sebum as well as the reduction of pimples and imperfections (note: the product does not advertise these effects in particular but personally this is what I found).The only flaw is that I received the old edition of the packaging and not the new one in the photoes but honestly it wasn't a problem and I am more than satisfied.

As a biochemist I am fully in support of the mineral sunscreens.If you apply little bits at a time to your face and massage it in...wait a bit..repeat....you can actually use it on your face without getting that white look.I only use this now whether at work or running around outside.Very good.
