The design is flawed. Fully extended there’s more weight at the top. When you add something warm like coffee the material becomes soft. This with most of the weight at the top results and spilled coffee. Do not buy this product

Excellent idea and I even received 2 cups with lids instead of one that I thought I was getting. However the tops leak pretty Bad regardless of how well you tread it and seat it..I'm was really impressed by its capacity discovered around 20ozIf there were a way to add a gasket to the lip I'd buy one for everyone I know

Yes, you need this. Traveling and having the option to waste less is perfect. The fact you can make it two different sizes is great. It is sturdy and very compact-able. It fits perfectly into my purse or bag and I know I can have coffee or water whenever I want.
