Husky Training: Dog Training for your Husky puppy

I chose this book because I adopted a year old traumatized, extremely high anxiety Siberian Husky. I needed every chapter of this book! He has done well with constant attention and basic training, and isn’t a high anxiety dog anymore but I needed more, I needed to understand him better. I was delighted with all the information in this book. I am looking forward to seeing all what he can learn over time. I have already tried some of the advanced training and he is responding well. Thank you for the information you have included in your book.

I bought this book for my grandson and his wife to help them with training their new "baby"! They both loved the book, and found it very helpful. And my great-granddog is adorable!! Those blue eyes!

Basically just come dog knowledge. Not really anything useful if you already know anything about pack mentally.

Huskys are very smart and stubborn so this book really helps explain why and how to communicate simply and successfully to your dog in a positive way.

Don’t waste your money. I bought all 3 volumes for Huskies, and I thought it was pretty informative. Soooo I went ahead and bought the Border Collie series. They are worded EXACTLY THE SAME. “Insert dog breed here”. I am utterly disgusted. I do not recommend this author. I should have spend a few bucks more and got Cesar Milan’s books. These books are worthless, if you have one series you have all of the types of breeds.

Very straightforward and easy to understand. I have owned, A golden retriever, pitbull/rottweiler cross and a few smaller breeds. All have been well adjusted and trained. This book however is a must read for any new Husky owner. We look forward to the challenge. Thanks Claudia.

New dog owner here: this is the third book about husky training I've read in the past few days. It's by far the most in-depth and insightful of the 3 and I'm sure I'll read it once or twice more in the coming days/weeks. Must-read!
