This is an excellent system which could be used for many purposes. As a security device it ‘knows’ when the people in the family are home or away. When away, if motion isn’t detected it immediately sends an alert to you phone and captures the image of the intruder. Even if it is discovered by an intruder Canary will Have already sent the image instantly to the cloud. Using the microphone image in the app you can tell the intruder they have been filmed and the police are on their way. You can set the Canary to night mode, so that it will detect any inappropriate movement during the night too.It’s also extremely useful for keeping an eye on the welfare of an elderly parent or as a baby monitor. It is possible to view the scene at anytime to check on them. I would highly recommend this product. One year’s subscription was included free with the device, making this an extremely cost effective security system.

slow to log in most times, software updates are often a problem, sometimes misses detection and cuts off early. I use these to keep an eye on two elderly people. think I'll be looking at RING or smilier to replace. having 5 of these units

Had these cameras before. Very sensitive and excellent quality.Adding the code to get the year free wasn't the easiest but got there with the on line help facility

I bought his camera as part of prime day deal. But unfortunately the product could not be activated as it was registered to someone else. They are seemingly selling refurbished cameras during the deals and now I realise I just wasted my money for a camera that has been registered to someone else. Very very disappointed

DONT BUY THIS: advertised as including 1 year Premium Membership but nothing included In the packaging (such as a promo code) to redeem offer. Amazon unwilling to help as it’s being sold by a reseller, canary unwilling to help as it wasn’t bought direct from canary. Extremely frustrating situation where the buck has been passed back and forth with no result. Ended up requesting a refund based on the fact I didn’t receive what I was sold (a canary with 1 yr premium subscription).

Dose not look like a CCTV system, quite discreet. Night mode not that great.

Easy to set up, needs a good WiFi connection to steam well.

There is nothing to dislike very happy with it
