ACME Studios Crayon - Purple Retractable Roller Ball Pen by Adrian Olabuenaga (PACME3PURR)

I have owned a red version for years. I trust the brand as well. Some are upset that the ink is black rather than purple so be aware of that. Otherwise it’s just a fun pen imitating a crayon with remarkable accuracy.

The pen is sturdy and writes well. I have another ACME Studios pen I bought 10+ years ago and have never had trouble with it, or with refills. I use it all the time. This one writes in the same way. NOTE: the ink for this pen is BLACK, not purple/violet. I checked ACME's website and it appears the refills for this particular pen only come in black or blue. Ink color isn't a game changer for me, but if it is for you, you might try a different option,

Writes smoothly, almost like a fine nib fountain pen. If you unscrew it at the writing end you can open it up and see clearly what refill it needs (P8126), don't let the crayon outsmart you.

I love Acme pens and this one is no exception! Very cute, unique design and writes smoothly as expected. The weight is substantial but not too heavy. (The components are metal, not plastic.) Seller (on the east coast) shipped it promptly and received it within four days, including weekend, on the west coast.

The pen does NOT come with purple ink as the description says. It's a lie. The pen will come with one black ink cartridge and no purple.

I love the weight of this pen. The ink flows very smoothly and evenly.

Love the idea, but it leaks ink. i thought I had left the pen head out when I noticed ink on my work vest. I pulled the pen out of my vest and saw the head was retracted. Cleaned everything up put the pen back in my vest and it leaked again.Guess i will have to carry it turned upside down if I am to keep it..

Cute beyond words. And writes very smoothly. Just the thing for your inner child.
