LG 49UM7400 49" Ultra HD, Multi HDR Smart TV [Energy Class A++]

Needed a brand new TV, as our beloved Panasonic gave up after 14 years. So many to choose from but ended up going for this LG based on the reviews. Very pleased we did, as it's ace. Considering it is 49in, it's very light and very thin - making it easy to position.Set up is very simple and intuitive, with on-screen prompts to guide you throughout - took about 15 mins to get up and running from unboxing.Picture quality is excellent once you find the right setting for your room - we went with dynamic - and the HDR quality is remarkable at this price. We watched some HDR videos on the built in YouTube app and they looked stunning. At this price the blacks aren't quite as deep as they could be, but wasn't really a problem.The remote is just the standard one, not the 'magic' remote with voice control, but once you get to grips with it and learn some shortcuts it's fine.Sound is the only thing that's a little poor, as with most TVs like this, but a soundbar connected up will sort that out no problem.All in all, a cracking purchase and very happy.

This smart tv is fantastic, the picture quality is amazing and the sound is of high quality also. The size is the right size for me as anything above is to big. Great price and fast delivery

It was smashed when I received it so I returned it and went to Argos and got the same telly at the same price! Brilliant telly!

Hello, Earlier today I submitted a feedback regarding my new LG Smart TV. When I wrote the earlier message I stated having no luck connecting the LG to the internet. Well, since the last input I decided to do what I should have done and unhooked all the power to the PC and the LG and wait 10 mins which I did. AFter doing that everything set up and is hunky dory just fine. Tks to the gentleman that just called to have a chat with me as well good cust. svcs.Mr. Young only gave 4 stars for tv but will look for an additional remote control. tks

Not many TV's have a satellite connection, but this one has. It meant i could get rid of my Sky box, and just watch freesat. The TV has all the usual smart apps, and gets regular software updates. I do see the odd sound /picture lag problems, but really not a problem. All-in-all great value for money. An additional bonus was that delivery of this item from this seller was unbelievably fast to my holiday cottage where very few suppliers deliver to normally, and it was delivered free.

Ridiculous.I already own one of these TV’s and this was going to be a gift for my grandmother for her 90th birthday.The box was battered and held together with duct tape. The TV itself has multiple cracks across the screen and clearly non functional.I am shocked that Amazon shipped this item.All around very disappointed by Amazon with this order.Even the delivery man was shocked by the state of it when delivered, and took photos for evidence.No complaints about the product though from the set which I currently own, great product from LG.

An excellent tv and plenty of apps to keep you and the family entertained without even needing sky!! Thoroughly recommend!!
