Wuu Jau L-896 Medieval Sword with Scabbard, 35"

First, the handle and scabbard are brown faux leather not black. Second there is no edge on this blade. The quality is .... so-so. The metal fitting was mostly good but some parts were just not great. Sword fits in scabbard securely though. I bought this as a display piece to go along with my family flag and it will work for this. The faux leather is not great quality and will not take staining well if at all. The wrap on the handle was not so perfect but Im going to re-wrap it anyway so.....its ok for me. Reasonable price, reasonable quality.

Bought this sword for a Braveheart themed wedding toast. The whole room hushed when the shimmering blade was drawn and waved overhead. One unsuspecting guest let out a cry "Freedom!"

For the price i got this for (which was a brief sale price for under $30) it is amazing quality. The picture shows the hilt and scabbard to be "black leather" in actuality it is brown leather. The blade tapers to a sharp point but there is no edge (but why would there be one??... it's under $50 :) Although the blade does slope downward towards the edge so sharping would quite easy to do if you wanted to, but for a display piece i believe that to be unwarranted. The cross guard feels solid and came mounted fairly square to the blade. Overall i feel like it was a good purchase. Some may agree, some may not just my two cents!

The handle is a paper roll covered in fake leather that doesn't screw on. The blade is cheap steel with signs of rust on delivery.
