Seems to be well constructed, haven't used it yet to know if resonant to specs.

Had one of these for about 3 years and used it for storm chasing, we always had great reception and transmission on both 2m and 70cm. I did have to replace it after driving through an f1 tornado, but it survived the car wash several times when I forgot to remove it, lol.Overall this is a great buy and will last you years and years. Threads fit perfect on my mount.

After reading all the 'old-timer' reviews saying tram isn't what it used to be, I was surprised at the quality of construction, ease of assembly, and high performance of this antenna. Great buy!

Put this on, hooked it up swr was 1.5 on vhf, and 4.95 on uhf

Great antenna for the money. I have installed many of them on trucks running the haul road in Alaska and they have held up and preform well. Only thing I would recommend to everyone is prior to install back out the set screws and put a little bit of lock tight on them and tighten them well. I have had a few come in not very tight.

Exactly as advertised put on mount attached analyzer and it was 1.2-1.5 on all frq. advertised ,great Price and value,packing at amazon could be better but product is great.

This is a high-quality antenna. It was sold as pre-tuned, and it is. The SWR at 146.52 MHz OOB is 1.25 to 1. I don't have a meter that will measure the SWR at 446.000 MHz, but I'll trust that it's as good. It was very well packaged in a triangular box that protected it from damage in transit.

The antenna arrived well protected in an over-sized box. Good job Amazon!It measured about 1/2 inch shorter than my old Diamond antenna I've had for about 10 years so I was a little concerned about how it was tuned.After testing, I made a CQ contact on a repeater which I always find hard to reach from my location due to a geographical feature in the way.
