If you want the best binned ram on the market and you have a little extra cash to blow, you are looking at the correct product! Samsung B-die, super tight timings, amazing heat sync, great bright LED's, and by using Corsair's iQUE application the light combinations and ways to use the lights are unlimited. You can even use them as a warning device setting them to all turn red at a specific temperature.My only regret is that I bought this set which is the best bang for the buck, slightly faster than the 4000mhz set for a ton less... but my mobo/cpu are old and are only qualified for 3200, so far I have only been able to get 2400mhz up for 2133mhz... but a work in progress.

Terrible value for the money. Solid ram though with ok timings. It is Samsung b die which is great. You are better off getting the cl18 and tightening the timings. That said one of the LEDs was broken on my set so I returned them.

They look fantastic, but they run really hot and RGB can only be controlled with icue which is a bummer that every RGB component uses a different software

I really wanted to like this RAM kit. It looks nice and performs well. However, I have had 1 LED die in one of the DRAM sticks twice now! RMA'd my first kit with the problem. New kit arrived and a couple weeks later I had the exact same issue. If you google the problem you will see lots of people with the same problem. This is inexcusable for how expensive this RAM is. I'm debating RMAing the second kit (which is a total pain in the a**. You have to send the whole kit in, so you'd better have a backup kit for the two weeks it will take to ship from Taiwan and it took like a month to even get approved) or just living with it. Not happy either way.

If you don't know why this memory is over priced, you probably wouldn't care why. Just look up Samsung B-die ram and you can fall down the infinite hole of "superior ram" and overclocking headroom on zen 2 architecture. Doesn't do much on Intel as normal xmp oc's work fine

Works perfect no issues with icue and looks great in my pc. Running 5800x with dark hero mb and no issues.Edit: checked the die type and its Micron E die not samsung b die

This is MICRON not B-Die. A few websites reviewed that and they had B-Die chips that overclock much better. MICRON chip have ZERO overclocking headroom. Selling this as top of the line Corsair memory is false advertising.
