looks and feels flimsy but works well
when you pull it out of the box it has a deceptively flimsy feel to it, but I attached a 22x22x1/2 piece of plywood to it and placed an 18 inch cabinet on it. the cabinet is made of 3/4 ply and I would say it weighs around 30 pounds. worked great and the versaspin doesn't seem to have suffered any. I used the grabbers to hold the cabinet up off the base a little. they held the cabinet in place, not allowing it to shift at all. Greatly sped up the finishing task. I cleaned the slop off the grabbers with mineral spirits.

For slow turns like cake decorating. Not free-spinning.
BB's are different sizes (WHAT???)BB's dont move freely, even after I oiled. Why? Because they are DIFFERENT SIZES.I bought this for painting. Dont recommend for any free spinning abstract work. Because it doesn't SPIN FREELY. Fine for cake decorating. all in all, the only one I could find. Would I buy again? No.

Adequate Revolving Platform
I purchased this item to hold woodturnings for spraying. I feel the base is too light and the attachments can not be mounted on the platform to support small pieces. This is because of the configuration of the attachment holes with the corresponding mounting pegs does not allow the attachments to be grouped closely together. It otherwise does well in supporting larger pieces. For the price, next time I will go to the dollar store and purchase a revolving cake stand.

Is is weird to say I'm in love with a plastic turntable??? Well, I am. I love to spray paint, and hand paint stuff and this tool is really great. I can get nice even coverage when i spin the project around. IT's lightweight and doesn't take up much space. I put saran wrap over it to protect it from spray paint. I can just pull it off when I'm done, and it remains clean. The grabbers are really great as well as the pyramids. I used the grabbers on a project that was too wide for the platform and it kept it from moving around.

Not a smooth as I had hoped.
Doesn't always turn so easily. As I am a fused glass artist, this can be a real drawback for me because it jiggles the pieces of glass out of place.

Lazy Susan IS lazy
It’s smaller than I thought & spins slower than I wanted but it’s one of the few reasonable ones I found.
