Gets the job done for waterproofing particular fabrics. Personally I used it on denim jeans for a hazmat project. Definitely withstood a good beating. Usage requires open space and time. Can affect colors on particular fabrics so be mindful. Maintains surface protecting it so stains never start. Perfect for those campers out there who need to waterproof everything!

The product does what it is advertised to do. I used it to spray a few bags, following directions carefully. It only takes one application. Water now beads off the bags when wet. However, I noticed that the material of my bags (I think they are some kind of nylon) which had been stiff before the spraying, became quite soft afterwards. bags are still usable, but the appearance and feel changed. The odor is also very strong and takes a few days to dissipate. When I used the bags 24 hours after the spraying, all the stuff that I put inside acquired the smell, which also took a couple of weeks to disappear. The sprayer seems to not be very well designed because mine started leaking and dripping down the side of the bottle (coming from where the sprayer connects to the bottle, not the actual sprayer where it is supposed to come out). As a result, I got the stuff all over my hands, which, if it contains PFAS, is not good for you at all! After that incident, I used disposable gloves while spraying and had paper towels handy to catch the drips.

The canvas on my boat leaks water, after we washed it hard. This spread stopped the leak well.

Used this to refresh an aging cover for my boat. The spray is easily applied, and the fabric is now thoroughly waterproof. Too early to know how long-lasting it will be, as it’s been about a month since application, but so far it’s holding up well.

We live one mile from the Florida border in Georgia. We have HOT, HUMID, summers. The sun will fade everything within a week. I found this spray after searching for SOMETHING that might help. We were having to purchase a new patio umbrella every year because they would fade so badly. ( that gets expensive)Bought this last year .. our umbrella looks BRAND NEW! We don’t have to buy a new one this year. It takes one full spray bottle to cover an 8 ft umbrella per the directions. My second year ordering and it won’t be the last.THIS PRODUCT IS AWESOME!

I tried for over an hour, and the sprayer would not prime. Honestly I pumped until both my hands gave out.I even unscrewed the nozzle from the bottle and submerged it in water, and it still would not work. I want to use the product, so I guess I'll buy a spray bottle from Wal Mart so that I can waterproof my backpack.

I cannot yet speak truly to its longevity/“durability,” as I’ve only had it in use for maybe a few weeks. However!...I’m a big fan of this product. I’ve tried a few other brands of waterproofing spray with disappointing results. Thus far, this one performs to my liking.I make smallish collapsible tipis (or “teepees,” depending on your understanding) as easy, wind-resistant, dissipating shelters for my company’s roving wildlife education programs. They work great for providing a cooler environment, but if it starts to rain, we have a problem. I use regular ol’ dropcloth for the skin on account of it comes in large, affordable dimensions made of reasonably-durable cotton. But, they are not really water resistant. If the pitch of the tipi is steep enough, it will shed water in light rain for a while, but eventually it becomes saturated and provides no cover from rainfall. I put one coat on my 12ft tipi. We’ve had several heavy rains here since, the first occurring maybe an hour after application. The interior of the tipi is BONE DRY, BABY!I love this stuff. I only wish I got more for the price. I will be trying it on my boots and other apparel, as well.
