D-Arts : Mega Man X Comic Ver.

A special edition, Japanese exclusive, this figure represents Megaman X as he appears in the series' gritty manga adaptation by Iwamoto Yoshihiro. While I'm not as big a fan of the manga as the games, I still liked its rendition of X, which I feel was very in-character, a pacifist at heart who prefers peace over conflict, but woe to those who manage to cross him. Since this is yet another variation of the original figure, there's not much that needs to be gone over other than the different colored breast plates (Indigo / purple instead of light blue), more realistic facial features, and an additional, battle-damaged X-Buster included to represent scenes in the manga where X's signature weapon gets wrecked in a heated battle (Sting Chameleon and Boomer(ang) Kuwanger off hand).As an added plus, this figure is easily compatible with the standard issue, and Armored Versions of X (you could put the wrecked buster on the Standard issue, for example, or the faces on the Armored one). Also, as is typical of figures from Bandai's D-Arts figure line, it's virtually spot-on to the source material, except for some barely noticeable mispaint, or initial stiffness in the upper-arm joints mentioned in my previous reviews.What this figure has going against it though, isn't its mold, but its price; Since this action figure was only officially released in Japan, it needs to be imported, and thus is rather expensive, and add to that its limited release, it's hard to come by even on Amazon. If you're really looking forward to completing your D-Arts Megaman collection, I'd recommend this only if you have the money to spare, otherwise, you may want to pass on it, and be satisfied with the figures in your collection already.

as a massive megaman I freaking love this thing. It's pricey but if you love this series as much as I do it's totally worth it

If you are Iwamoto Yoshihiro fan, Get this figure immediately! The figure come with a heavily damaged x buster, three expression from the comic. I like it.

I love it's detailing on the figure, damaged X buster, dents in the armor. Expensive but worth buying.
