This kit is awesome. I have tried to hang different hooks and shelving in my garage in the past and it didnt work out too well. With this kit i hung a bunch of different shelving units. The drill bit went through the concrete with no problems and the fitting to put the tapcons in worked perfect. This kit is a must have for any man/woman needing to drill and hang stuff on concrete walls.

This is a great quality little set. All items are useful and i really like the shank that slides over the bit to allow quick changes between drilling and driving. I do wish it would have came with 2 of the same style bits, only longer. I say this because if you are drilling through a 2x4 plate that's already placed on a concrete floor, you will not achieve a deep enough hole for a typical 2 3/4" tapcon, since it needs to be 1/4" deeper than the screw. Anyone who uses tapcons knows how critical this is because they are pretty easy to twist off if not, especially in poured concrete. This is not an issue when pre drilling holes for anything to be mounted afterwards, i.e- conduit straps. But the pieces are of good quality. I would like to pay a little more and get 2 longer bits and a case for it all, since there's also no case.

The concrete bit broke on first use, which isn’t that common after a couple of weeks, but not the very first time. I purchase in the store all the time with different brands but first time online

this is a great product and it does the jobs very good and convenient I would had given a 5 stars it just seams that after drilling three holes on concrete and blocks walls the drill bits looses its original state and drilling performance tents to be poor unless you use it for something quick and easy you will need to purchase a new bits to have it as spare just in case they get worn-out before you get your job done, but other than that I am satisfied with the product. so if your an extreme handyman like me is best to buy extra drilling bit just in case , but if you are an just in while thing this will do just fine for you it is really great item to have in your tools box.

This kit is by far the best tapcon kit and will save you time and money in the long run!The bits and driver’s have lasted me forever, until I loaned 1 out so I bought an extra as they were hard to find.Great Value for a great product!Thank You Irwin Tools!

great time saver if you have to drill into concrete and then drive a Tapcon into the hole. While mounting stereo speakers on the wall, this saved me time and effort while up on a ladder, not having to swap out the bit to drive the bolt into the wall. The magnet is strong enough to hold the sleeve over the bit, and then another magnet holds the nut driver over the sleeve. You can also use a screwdriver bit in the place of the nut driver. I wish I had this many products ago!!!

Wow!! How did I ever live without this before? Just spent two days putting up shelves in the garage. This drill bit and hex socket made the job 10x easier. Cut through cement cinder blocks like it was wood. Max torque hammer drilling and 4 inch screws never wore down the drill bit nor the socket fitting. The extension is handy in the tight corners.
