I purchased the Pet Grooming Table Hair Dryer w Adjustable Flexible Arm to use on myself after shoulder surgery. This is a great buy for that as long as you have a place to attach it. I did not want to attach it to my dresser as it could possibly scratch the paint. It is jimmied up to a metal storage unit and a floor lamp. Now, as I'm recovering, the long, flexible arm makes it easy to dry my hair while applying make-up & dressing. Hair dryer is not included.

The arm itself is sturdy, however, the thin plastic clam cracks easily under general pressure due to basic laws of mechanical physics. The arm length is about 2 feet long, so 1 lb of force on the end means 2 ft/lbs of pressure on the base. Math and physics, who knew?A thicker, stronger plastic base or fortified vice-clamp is recommended.Furthermore, the three-finger claw/ hand open/closes with a very finicky screw. Rotating the screw opens or closes the claw ver slowly. To remediate this issue, it's just easier to remove the screw all together and just put a double wrapped rubber band around the claw itself. Faster, and more efficient use.

Did not stay where positioned

I'm not using this for dog grooming. I am, however using this as a hair dryer stand for me while I recuperate from shoulder surgery. It's steady on the bathroom counter and holds my hairdryer in place, while I dry my hair. The clamp for the counter is a twist on and the clamp for the dryer is a screw tightener. Much like a wood clamp. Easy to use and very stable.

The first one the clamp snapped in half within 3-4 weeks of use. The 2nd one, which was a replacement for the 1st, arrived with the piece that holds the dryer nozzle completely separated from the bendy rod due to not being glued properly. I'm just going to epoxy it together and hope that lasts.

I saw this on an occupation’s therapist video for a shoulder replacement. This is perfect to hold your hair dryer when you only have one hand to style your hair. I am sure there will be other uses for this but it will be very helpful for what I need at this time.

I was super excited to get this as I am a dog groomer and a holder for the dryer nozzle is the best thing since sliced bread.I am super disappointed to report that I didn’t need to ven get to use this and it broke :(I was tightening it onto my table and the clamp just snapped.
