it looks like bronze on the picture
first of all, they are cheating with the pictures. it looks like bronze on the picture, but it's not. like other reviews said, it's yellow zinc plated. I don't feel good about this. though it works with the 1lb bottle. can't seal very well, but it works. the connector for the big bottle can only spin for 1 round, make me feel unsecure for might leaking propane. but to be fair it actually didn't. anyway, don't like it and don't like the way they advertising it.

Perfect. Word of warning
Perfect. Word of warning. When removing the disposable propane canister, remove it first before removing the adapter the stove. If you don't, all the gas will escape as there is not an automatic shutoff. It is so nice not to have to lug one of those big propane tanks when camping or tailgating.

very poor quality, it won't tread into the disposable cylinder, it stripped one, and the other one took 15 mins. to get it to catch the thread. once it was threaded it got so tight I couldn't remove it by hand to change the tank..

Machining error or made for different propane regulator.
This does not hook up to grill regulator on POL (large) end of fitting. The machining depth of the POL end is not deep enough to allow the grill regulator to thread onto the adapter. Nice try fellas but you had best test one before placing out for sale.

Best damn attachment you will ever buy
Best damn attachment you will ever buy. Got a Propane grill? How about a Coleman stove? You run out of Propane in the middle of a cook grab this attachment and your 1 lb propane tank from the stove... Back in business! Best invention ever!

Waste of time and $$
Improperly machined as the male side does not fit even after trimming down the threads. The fitting was entirely too large to use. Part is Zinc plated steel.I would return it if I could. Waste of time and $$.

this works! We had several old throw away bottles that we wanted to use up..using our large outdoor stove. Works like a charm and fits very well

Works just like it should.
Works just like it should. I use it to air out mostly empty propane bottles. If there is enough propane in the tank, this thing will get cold as the air comes out.
