WARNING from an ADVANCED MASTER GARDENER: do not buy
I will not buy again from SeedsDirect. There were no instructions. I received 25 seeds and I've BABIED them since planting in early spring. I'm an advanced Master Gardener and I even used a seedling mat on these. I have two viable plants--but (as of the end of June) they are only about 4" tall. I doubt I'll get anything from them this season. Find another way to get your seeds for Peppadews. The shipping was expensive for the way they were shipped. Stay away from these seeds.

0% Germination Rate
Not a single seed germinated. I'm an experienced gardener and have grown many pepper plants from seed. I'm giving one star on the off chance that there is something about germinating Peppadew peppers that I didn't know.

These peppers are very good with just a little bite to them
These peppers are very good with just a little bite to them. When we contacted the company they were very helpful. We stuffed them with a cheese mixture and made a good and colorful dish.Very satisfied with our experience.

No luck
Having an issue getting these seeds to grow. I am not sure what the issue is, doing everything right, none are sprouting. So, I am not sure how to rate them yet, will keep trying, but running low on seed and no results. I am really wanted these peppers - no luck!

Poor quality seeds!
Of the 20 seeds, only 5 germinated. The 5 seedlings were very weak, did not thrive. All died soon after transplanting.

Don't buy!
We had friends of ours start these seeds. She said they were very OLD seeds and knew they would probably not start. But she decided to try to germinate them anyway, out of 40 seeds one did start but it did not make it. This seems to be the experience of other people who ordered these seeds.

surprised they were just in a white mailing envelope. Would have been better if wrapped in tin foil or cellophane instead of being loose. However, looking forward to growing my own peppers

Never grew. I suspect they were pulled from pickled peppadews so they were destined to fail, as only one South African company grows peppadews and they won't release the seeds. Shameful misrepresentation.
