Took about 1 hour to put together. Had to modify around a built in tackle box on my console but I knew that in advance. Was skeptical about the durability but all in all it's a great top for the money. Not heavy duty (doesn't claim to be). Perfect for a smaller 20' or under center console. Only thing that would make it better is if it would collapse or pivot forward like some other models on the market. There are some clamps and such on the market to be able to do this yourself but the cost of doing so can get expensive.

Great product. The quality of the material is good. If you don’t get your dimensions right, you’ll have to cut here and there to make it fit. The only problem I had with it is after five or six outings the screws that held it down, started to come loose and it would rattle. It is hard to tighten screws without taking it all apart. Buy it and you will see. A friend of mine bought it and had the same problem. If you don’t mind screws getting loose frequently I say go for it.

For the price of this top it is good. Went together easy. The cover is think seems it will last awhile. The only downfall is the box was ripped and tore and a few scratches, but nothing we can’t work with.

Out of the box the t-top pieces, instructions, and assemble are straightforward. The 1 1/4" tube design is structural sound. I had a single missing piece (floor tube mount) that the company promptly replaced in a timely manner. Due to my 18' foot center console boat design (American Skiff) I modified the install process with added 1/4" thick aluminum pieces from local big-box hardware store to reinforce the install for better stability - tied into existing stainless steel grab handles. I suggest re-tightening all internal screws and bolts with Permatex thread-locker blue gel before install. Place the rear side bracket install as far up the tube as possible to provide as much structural stability to rear of the t top as possible. It is a great addition to the boat and even may support rod holders; try it and save your $$$ for other boating pleasures like fishing.

While assembling the plastic pieces broke off and there is no way to get other pieces.

Two of the rear poles were missing. But they sent me two more within a week. Once I figured how I was going to mount it in my boat because my consul flares out at the bottom. I had to drill some holes in my consul to drop the legs through inch and a quarter. It looks nice and very nice to get out of the sun great value for the money

This item is not as advertised. Very unstable. Seller will not work with you. If you choose to return, the cost of shipping will be higher than cost of product.

Works great on our boat have enjoyed it very much Easy to install and takes a couple of hours. Looks good and adds value to the boat.
