ACDelco Gold 335-1093 (88877303) Alternator

Exact replacement for my worn out alternator. Fit and worked perfect right out of the box. Time will tell how it holds up.

Used to replace cheap aftermarket alternator that randomly over charged. This one fit great, looks good and has been flawless

Can't complain, good price worked fine for past few months now. I did change out that fan blade thing with the old.

OEM is OEM, very happy. C10, 1979, SBC

Installed easily on K5 Blazer. Pulley looks small but belt fully seats in it. Works well.

GREAT PRICE LOOKS GREAT

I'm giving this 1 star for being the right fitment and actually working. Unfortunately, that's as good as it gets. The main mounting hole is sleeved, The 2 pin plug won't lock in, the stud for the small wires is larger than the original and I had to enlarge the wire mounting rings. And worst of all, it's overvolting the battery. I'm getting 15v at idle under no load, and 15.5v at 2500 RPM under load. This will severely impact battery life and is not acceptable. It's sad to me that AC Delco has fallen so far, they used to be one of my most trusted brands, along with Bosch, for auto electrical parts. I'm going to drive the vehicle for a week and if the voltage doesn't drop to within spec then I'm going to have to take it out and return it, and it's not a lot of fun to do. And I doubt that a replacement will be any better and I have no way to test it other than installing it.

Says made in Mexico on Amazon information but came in with made in China on box. I was trying to stay with a NAFTA country. Otherwise looks good and fits my 1978 Malibu which includes a bolt on bracket on the bottom of the Alternator that I transfered to the new one.
