Good quality White Proso Millet for most birds. Product was dry, clean, fresh, and with sturdy packaging. Seller shipped fast and I am very happy with purchase.I think price could be lower, it is pricey for millet. The bag is not paper as shown but a plastic material that shredded soon as it was cut, leaving bits of plastic in seed which I had to fish out by hand. Change photo please. This is not accurate. Your packaging will make me change sellers so please fix that.The birds that eat this millet: Doves, pigeons, finch, sparrow, towhee, junco, cowbirds.I also give them shelled sunflower seeds and some Nyjer seed. They do well on this mix with minimal mess. I bought the poultry chick feeders and place seed in this trough, and the feeders on a wide shallow wood tray (drawer) on the fence. No mess, and since they have to stick their heads in there, they don't fight, and squirrels are not encouraged. Note that shelled sunflower chip seeds are smaller than whole sunflower, cheaper, and little birds can eat them whereas they cannot eat whole sunflower seeds easily. These are sunflower CHIPS MEDIUM SIZE. Shelled sunflower means that non seed eaters like robins can eat them without being able to shell them since their beaks are meant for insect digging not seed cracking. Finches can crack seeds but narrow beaked birds cannot. There is a technical side to seeds too!Best deterrent for squirrels is to make a Squirrel House in two locations (so they don't fight either) and place two bowls of sunflower chips (no mess with shells), and Costco nuts like walnuts, almonds, raw peanuts out for them too. Now everyone is happy and squirrels are happy and fed too. Trying to deter squirrels is a hopeless task. Make your peace with them and keep them happy but separate. They bully birds. Once they are happy, they loll around on the fence, clown and race each other, and create a dynamic back yard wildlife area. They are also on the menu for predator birds like hawks. A well fed healthy squirrel is a well fed healthy hawk or owl.

This is the best price for birdseed you will find.I put this in a tray feeder and sunflower seeds in a hopper so the birds know what they are getting in each and don't fling stuff they don't like on the ground.I go through about two cups worth a day, so it lasts a while, but not so long that it goes bad.

The birds love it. Painted buntings are very small and they recommend this fine seed for them but all the birds eat it.

This white millet is what birds want!! I have made my own seed mixes for several years now. Commercial bird seed mix contains milo (looks like larger red-brown round seeds) or "canary seed" (same size but oblong), both of which get tossed out of the feeders by the birds. I mix it half and half with safflower and get a wonderful mix of cardinals (who go for the safflower), sparrows, finches, tufted titmouse, chickadees, wrens, juncos, doves, etc. I've also mixed it with hulled sunflower for very little mess under the feeder (the tiny chaff from the white milled just blows away). This 50 pound bag has been around a dollar per pound the last couple of times I've bought it. Excellent quality -- smells fresh, no chaff. I go through 2 bags a season, so you know the birds love love love it!

Clean seed for the price ($30 when purchased). Just millet. Inside and out side Birds love it. No waste.Two days later the price went up dramatically. Why? I would definitely have repurchased this repeatedly, but not for $50

I just start feeding my outdoor birds and they love it. Hopefully this bag be enough for all winter. The 50 lbs. bag was only good to the middle of January. This is my second order. The sparrows are crazy about it. We will see if the 100lbs be enough for this winter. It is very messy on my patio but to see them every day waiting for me its worth it. This product is simple and have to be very good otherwise I will not have that many birds especially sparrows. Thank you for good product and fast delivery.

I usually go through 250-300lbs of white millet from easy go over the winter here in Florida to feed the small birds.This is an awesome product and I remain a loyal customer.Just had the 2nd and 3rd 50lb bags delivered.It’ll be devoured in a few weeks.If I could keep the squirrels away, that would be a bonus.I will absolutely recommend this product to anyone who needs high-quality white millet to feed their small birds. Painted bunting absolutely love it.
