Removes tape stripes, can damage paint.
Needed to remove the old vinyl stripes and double sided tape residue from the sides of my 20 year old truck. These worked well, with a caveat…I had thought I’d need the toothed wheel for the double sided tape residue, and while it did remove the tape, it also overheated the clearcoat and it is now dull in places. The smooth wheel did a similarly good job on the double sided tape, and also worked well on the vinyl stripes, without dulling the paint. I need to deep clean and buff the paint anyway, so it’s not a great problem for me, but be careful if you’re working on a vehicle with nice paint. If I was going to buy again, I’d probably just get the smooth wheel.

Removes Adhesive Tape Like a Champ!
I needed to replace the old window visors that cracked on my Jeep Liberty. These OEM MOPAR window visors were installed the day I brought my Jeep home from the dealer and after 17 years of trouble free service they finally cracked from old age. I ordered a new set of visors from Amazon and started to pull the old ones off. It wasn’t easy but I got them pulled off and the only thing left was the adhesive tape. I tried peeling, scraping, cutting and even applied doses of Goo Be Gone and still the adhesive would not come off. Doing research online led me to the Adhesive removal wheel and ultimately this product. There are two different wheels in this kit and they both have the same description. Not knowing which one would work best, I decided to buy the 2 wheel set and I am glad I did. The finned wheel works well to remove the outer layer of tape but for me it did not take it all off. Lucky for me the non-finned wheel was able to finish the job. I used the regular wheel to remove any adhesive residue left over from the finned wheel and also to touch up areas. On a side note it also works well to remove those dried up bugs on the bumper And windshield. All in all I highly recommend this product. Just know that these wheels wear down fairly quickly and leave a lot of residue. The residue can be blown or wipes off so that’s not an issue. Make sure you order enough to complete your job. In my case I was able to remove adhesive tape demo 4 windows and have about an inch left before the throw away mark.

Used on Sun Baked Cop Car Decal Adhesive. Perfect!
Omg 😲 if you have glue or adhesive residue left over from car decals or the decals themselves this will eat through it like butter! I brought an old sun baked cop car at auction with leftover adhesive residue all around the car and on the roof. The smooth rubber wheel DEMOLISHED the glue like nothing. It just completely ate it off the car revealing the clear coat underneath and leaving it untouched. It took me two days to do the whole car only because it was 99 degree F heat outside and my drill ran out of power. I definitely suggest getting a cored drill. Which I did on the second day. Also I found for adhesive residue the smooth wheel worked a bit faster than the flanged wheel. In my pics you can see they leave "eraser shavings" everywhere so prepared to get dirty. But easy to dust off or vacuum up.The adhesive was so thick and sun baked on my car that Goof Off couldn't penetrate it so that is why I chose this wheel. Like I said I did practically the whole car and one wheel lasted about 90 percent of the job. I had to switch at the very end to my second wheel.Only thing is you have to get a feel for the right angle of approach but once you do everything flies off!Awesome product I wheel definitely recommend. 😆

Supporting small business is always a plus
So my girls car had some OLD vinyl wrap on the roof that was baked on. And it was on there (credit to 3m wrap). I tried the heat guns and steamers and plastic razor blades however I was getting off small pieces Mabey a half inch at a time and my fingers and hands were shot after 45 minutes. I did some research and seen professionals use similar wheels and decided to take a shot at this product since it wasn’t as pricy. I love how these work. Nothing will remove it all in one shot however you are able to chuck these in a drill and just go to town. Removes about a 3/4” line at a time so get yourself a buddy and some beer and you can do a roof in an hour. I will advise tho I will be buying another for the simple fact that they are running low and a little ove half the roof is complete from just myself. Would recommend two sets for large areas like a sedan roof as I am doing. Great product tho and it came in 3 1/2 days so no complaints.

I removed the adhesive from an old door guard on my Landrover.
I was at first skeptical until I tried it. Hooked the decal remover to my drill and it worked great. You can see in the photos the after and the before. The door guards were old and were peeling off. So I just decided to remove them completely. The result was old dirt and a bead of adhesive. I removed some of the adhesive using WD40 and a plastic scraper. But I could not get the adhesive off. This wheel worked great. I was able with persistence work the old adhesive off. This was above and beyond a normal sticker. But I really did not know what else I could do. The results were great. No scratches or damage to the paint! I also used a buffing compound to remove the years of dirt and grime. I am so happy with the results. The door guards had become a nuisance. Peeling half way off, thereby inhibiting the opening of the doors. I am very pleased.

Great tool!
Great tool! We purchased a used company van from an auction, their decals ran the full length on both sides and the back window. This product is well worth the price! I called a car detail place and was told the price for removal would start at $250. The wheels were easy to setup and attach on our drill. The trick I found is to use light pressure, if I pushed too hard it was less effective. Using both wheels was very helpful, the larger wheel on the main body and window, the solid one on grooves and corners made an expensive job super cheap. It easily removed the decals without taking off any paint. With the van being white and the decals being so dark I was worried about residue. There was some adhesive left behind and I used a citrus cleaner and it came off easily. The wheel residue and sticker pieces makes a mess, I suggest putting down a drop cloth for easier clean up(I will do this next time). I would also use a goggles and breathing mask, I have some basic hospital ones, the residue was fine and I don't know what those decals were made of. I highly recommend this product!
