Getting the job done!
I owned a pair of these Harbinger gloves for several years. They fit perfectly and were very durable. I wore them for such a long time that the gloves literally started to wear out and fall apart. I tried to find replacement gloves at various sporting good stores that were the same make and model. Good luck! The gloves I found were either too small, or poorly made. Needless to say, I was skeptical buying them on line. What a pleasant surprise when they arrived. They were the exact gloves that I sought to replace! The size was the same, as was the quality. They performed well and made lifting weights comfortable again. I recommend these gloves to anyone that seeking gloves that are properly padded, light, and well made. Indeed, I plan to purchase another pair to use as added insurance.

Good gloves
Love these gloves, I've been looking for a simple glove for weight lifting. These are perfect, no added padding other than the leather palms. Very good fit (XL for me) and comfortable. There was no stitching that bothered by fingers or hand, good velcro wrist tabs. They seem to be sown well, I'm hoping they hold up, I'm not a power lifter and only lift 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes at a time. So far I love them.

Little big, but that's what happens when a woman accidentally order the mens!
I'm participating in a mud run soon, and it's kinda like a boot camp run, complete with ropes to swing on, and fences to climb. It was recommended that I wear these gloves to help ease the strain this will put on my hands. Although I haven't used these yet, I have tried them on and they seem of good quality. I think they will really be a huge help with some of the climbing tasks; I recently participated in an obstacle course during which we had to swing on money bars across a short distance and although I did it, my hands were brush burned after from the material on the bars. I would say these run a bit large, but I went back to the product page and realize that I totally missed in the description that these are a men's size small glove! Whoops! It works out; although they are a little big, they have a velcro fastener at the wrist that can be tightened as much as needed so I am sure they will stay in place. And actually, given that they are only slightly too big, I think that a woman's small would have been too small. (I do have large hands for such a small person). I'll have to try to remember to provide an update after my run (if I make it through!) to provide information on how they hold up and if they protect my hands as intended. UPDATE I made it through the mud run back in August 2014, and I have to confirm that these gloves were as valuable as expected, particularly on one part where I had to navigate through a series of tires swings hung with ropes to get past a mud pit. According to some of my friends participating, the ropes burned the hands, but I had no problem (I had a sunburned back, scratched and bruised legs, and I lost a toenail, but my hands were totally okay). I did only get the one use out of these; they were so muddy I opted to throw them in the "donate" bag. Apparently the run organizers were washing any run clothing that participants decided they didn't want to take home and clean themselves and the salvageable clothes were going to thrift stores. So maybe someone out there has my gloves right now. These definitely held up just fine to the beating they took. I'd recommend these for hand protection.

Great General Workout Gloves At A Great Price!
I do a fairly general workout a few times a week - about 15 minutes of strength training on a Bowflex, pushups, situps/crunches and then 45 minutes on an elliptical trainer. While my hands are not tender by any means, I would find that the pads of my hands would get a little sore at the end of the workouts. I had an old setup of similar gloves that I used but nook between the thumb and index finger wore out rapidly leaving a hole which was more irritating than not wearing gloves. When I went to look for a replacement set of gloves I quickly discovered a huge range in pricing. I decided to try a most cost effective set of gloves and if they failed quickly I would consider more expensive ones. The Harbinger gloves have been exceptional in all ways. Many gloves I have used in the past would get hard over time - likely due to being soaked in sweat from workouts - no such issue with these. I have found these gloves to be very flexible while still offer solid protection for the palm and base of the fingers. I have seen some reviews say that there is not much padding in the palms but I have not experienced this myself. I have used gloves with a lot of padding and these are not thick, but I find they keep my hands protected while still allowing good flex. All in all I feel these gloves are great for weight lifting and elliptical work.

Perfect fit. Short on wrist. Short on fingers. Exactly how I like it
Been looking for those for long time. Had a same pair for years. 3 years of heavy use they finally fell apart.

No sweaty hands, good quality and movement.
When I decided to buy these gloves I was looking for quality, design and price. I choose these because for the price range these looked the best and the quality seemed good. When I got them, my first impression was that they seem sturdy, at least the front side. The front side is made of the leather and this is why they protect your hands very well when you are working out. The back side is made of mesh like material so that your hands "breath" while your working out and they dont get sweaty. No one likes sweaty hands specially when your lifting heavy weights. I never have gotten sweaty hands and I usually work out for about an hour to an hour and a half. heavy use, they are still going strong and I have even throwed them in the washer. They have not tor or have gotten damaged so far. (ive owned these for several months by now) When you have the gloves on, you are able to grab weights and other things without feeling like its restricting your movements. Your able to bend and move your hands freely and with ease. I recommend these gloves because they are made with style and are good quality. They feel good and they wont get your hands sweaty, but they wont protect your wrists, so if you want wrist protection look somewhere else.

High quality, thick padding on palm. Very robust compared to other gloves on the market that just fall apart in a matter of weeks. Should definitely last a long time, even with decent usage.
