Hirten Black Ostrich Skin Pattern Rosary Case with Anti-tarnish Lining (1671-01)

This case will fit a regular-sized Rosary without having to worry about the chain or beads being damaged by the zipper.The material is adequate & the case is lined with a thin polyester lining.It would be much nicer if it had a Crucifix or Cross embossed onto it, but that might not be possible because of the Ostrich-embossed design.

On the day that I ordered this case, and again today, the size of this case is listed as "3.25" x 4". It is not 4" wide and only ~3.5" wide. I will keep it since all the other cases I saw were listed as less than 4" wide. Also the lining is too small and does not take advantage of the undersized outer leather. I recall another reviewer noticing the liner issue.I specifically search for a larger case since I have a wooden rosary that requires a case with more room/volume. I have gently stuffed it with very slightly damp paper towel in an attempt to relax and slightly stretch the lining and outer shell.In closing, I don't know how such a simple measurement could be off by 0.5" for something of this relative size. That is the width is overstated by 14% (0.5/3.5).

Nice case

The outer case seemed plenty large enough, but the inside lining did not fill the case, so there wasn't as much room inside as the outside would have suggested; so it barely fit my 11mm-beaded rosary. For smaller beads, it works great, it is a nice case... I have a number of them.

This is a very nice case (if you can deal with the bumps from where the ostrich feathers were attached) with a nice lining. It is a good size. My rosary measures 21" from tip of the crucifix to the middle beads when starched in a straight line. The beads are of the old style dried and polished olive pit variety. The case is not quite about half full with the rosary inside.The leatherseems like it will last a long time.

This is my third ostrich skin rosary case, and I really love it! I make sure that my most expensive rosaries are in one, and it looks different from the other cases I have for my chaplets. I highly recommend it!
