Bit fiddly at the start, eventually after 10 minutes it was on. One tip is, hold the pieces still or draw the outline with a pencil faintly because if it’s moved slightly from when you first positioned it then the other piece won’t fit through smoothly.

A smart lock. A nice alternative to a latch fitting. Easy to fit.

I fitted these on Bathroom door (though they can go anywhere). What I found with the normal type of bolt is that when people move it across to open it there hand comes in contact with the door.Over time this leaves a smudge which stains the door and it has to be repainted.Yea I know it could be wiped but how many people after washing there hands bother to do it.This type of latch does away with this problem door does get wiped every so often but I no longer have smudges or worn away paint work. This does the job I bought it for ,many guests to our house have asked where to buy the bolt.Very pleased with this product wish I knew about it years ago.

I used these to secure my metal shed which has my bikes and tools in it.I used self tappers to get a good fit and they have fought off an attack already when somebody tried to pry them open.They didn't give, and are still perfectly workable.I really like the way you don't need the keys to secure them once opened.This means I can put the keys back in the house and leave the shed open, securing it with a quarter turn when it needs to be closed again.The locks have been open to the rain for 3 months and show no sign of rusk or decay.Great little locks and I am glad I bought them.

Our second home abroad is occasionally rented out. Obviously there are areas and cupboards where you want to restrict guest access.More specifically, there is a loft hatch that we want to secure.These seems easy to install locks. And they look somewhat shiny and classy in their metallic cover. The top of the screws will be covered by the metal plates in locked position. However I’m under no illusion that anybody that wants to open the lock with force will succeed. The included screws are quite thin and short, I will look to use longer ones for that reason. Also the key is small. So this lock is more intended to secure a cabinet in a slightly elegant manner, rather than that it would keep your house safe.Nevertheless I’m quite pleased with the product and might buy a few more.

Best suited for securing smaller items that won’t opening won’t allow the product to bend as the metal does so without much force. Respect where due however, as despite this the lock has yet to fail after many months of daily use.The screws are not water proof with rust showing within weeks but so far this is only an aesthetic issue.Tip for opening with one hand, pull the plate forward over the part that turns and then unlock. This holds the locking part in place as when turning the key and removing it.
