after some research I come to find out that this ...
after some research I come to find out that this product is grown in China. It boggles the mind that it then can be labeled USDA certified organic and the fact that they don't mention that on the label,. Shame on the people at Braga Organic Farms and Amazon as well for not being truthful, no, actually for being outright deceitful. You just need to read be a little informed. to realize that concept of Organic foods coming out China is not possible. It's a contradiction. Why then do you choose to completely hide it !!!

Way too much loose salt- and, a ROCK
Don't usually go out of my way to pan products that aren't up to par, but wanted to warn purchasers considering these nuts. The kernels were small and rather flavor-deficient, but I was OK with that, because they're organic. The were also full of salad-wrecking loose salt, as one sees when scraping the bottom of grocery store self-serve bins. But the "write the review" moment arrived when I almost bit into a serious rock- about 1/3 the size of a pinky-finger tip.I'm used to rinsing lentils & other whole grains & screening out rocks & debris, but in sunflower seeds??! Don't risk your dental work.

TOO SALTY but first 2/3 of bag was better !
I rarely if ever give below 4 or 5 stars on most things I review, and that is because I research everything as much as possible before purchasing. Also, before I write a review that is less than 3 or 4 stars, I usually contact the seller. Unfortunately this product was purchased and sold through Amazon, and Braga Farms was nowhere to be found to write to on here. The seeds taste delicious. However, there is way, Way, WAY, TOO MUCH SALT in terms of the taste! However, it appears that so many people rated these very highly, so perhaps most other people do not agree with me. Yet, before I wrote this review, after I could not find where to write to Braga Farms, I looked to see if I was the only person thinking this, and ironically, the first review I saw before further researching it, was from 2014 claiming there is too much salt. To be fair though, it did get saltier as I got down to the last third of the bag. If Braga Farms is willing to contact me, and either tell me I got an unusal batch, or that I was supposed to shake it each time I ate some, or something else I had not yet thought of, I would consider updating this review, especially if I have a chance to have a bag that is not so salty. On second thought, even shaking the bag may not be right for me, because I liked how it was tasting at first. Again, many people rated these highly so please dont only go by my one experience. I want people, including Braga Farms, to have thriving businesses if they are selling vegan products that are healthy.

Tasty, fresh, nutty flavor
These Sunflower Seeds are very fresh and have the perfect amount of 'roasted' flavor for my tastes. The bag is huge ... over a foot tall! 2 pounds of Sunflower seeds ... YUM!I'm grateful to have found a source for organic seeds and you can really taste the difference. No pesticides or GMO. Thank you!The only thing I will say is my bag had a freakish amount of salt powder in it. Seriously, I had to go through a process to shed the salt or it would have been impossible to choke these down. I'm assuming that's a result of the packaging process ... maybe my bag was the last of the batch. I notice that another review stated their bag was not too salty. Mine definitely was. There's no way this would be a normal/intentional amount of salt. But once free of the excess salt, the product tasted so good I just dealt with the extra work to shed the salt. If someone else hadn't already said the salt level was good I'd probably take a star off my rating, but I'm assuming my bag was a fluke.I'll buy this again and if I get another salt-bomb, I'll come back and take a star off the rating :)Nov 7, 2013 update: Bought this two more times ... both had a LOT of powdered salt making it hard to eat the bottom of the bag. wasted about 1/2 cup of seeds because it was impossible to separate them from the salt powder. BUT I'm still keeping the 5th star because the seeds are so yummy and I've purchased this three times now.

not very satisfied with the purchase as I was hoping to be
This product arrived in a stale condition. The expiry of this product is Jan 2016, which is just 3 months from now (for a 2 Pound bag). Bought this item after reading a lot of user reviews and decided this is the one to buy although a tad expensive, not very satisfied with the purchase as I was hoping to be. I wanted to try this before I do a subscribe and save. Same experience with the pumpkin seeds I ordered from Braga.

The package I ordered was a tad on the chewy and hard side. But the taste wasn't aweful.
I hate giving reviews that aren't positive and full stars, but I have to rate this lower because I paid good money for these, and they ended up stale and hard to chew. I grinded them up and used them in a cookie recipe, and for making nut/seed milks, but I thought I would be able to eat these with greater ease. Won't be buying again, but I gave them some stars because of they were organic, shipped on time, and edible, but maybe they are best to sprout and plant instead.

Fresh, healthy and delish!
I've been buying organic nuts and seeds from Braga Farms for about a year now and really like all their products, but I especially love these roasted sunflower kernels and their roasted pumpkin seeds. I eat them alone, or mix them with their raw almonds and dried cranberries for a healthy snack. The only downside with their salted seeds is that the salt settles down in the bottom of the bag, so when you get down to the last half, the seeds can begin to taste too salty. However, this is easily remedied by pouring the seeds in a mesh colander and shaking the excess salt out in the sink. This keeps the remaining seeds tasting just as lightly salted and yummy as the top half of the bag. All of the Braga Farms products I've tried are excellent, so I consider the excess salt issue just a minor inconvenience and easily remedied. I've tried many other brands of organic nuts and seeds, but I stick with their products now. They are always fresh and delicious, and I prefer knowing my $$ are supporting good, organic farmers like these folks.
