Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra Backup Camera for Factory Navigation

Getting the cable through the factory drain hole was a challenge (the hole is a narrow slot on my truck), the included grommet didn't fit the factory hole in the bed either. That said, I was able to make it work and didn't have any issues with the display functioning on the first try.The bezel and camera is indistinguishable from the factory version as best I can tell.As stated in the description, I can actually see the very edge of the bumper which means a hitch would be in view no problem.I can't speak for any of the much cheaper versions but their reviews indicate issues which I did not experience with this part.

My truck already had the LTZ package which includes the Factory Nav. My radio was already flashed for the rear camera, as it has the options to turn it off on the menu. I followed the Camera Source YouTube video and that video is a perfect tutorial to install this kit. My install was relatively easy although I do have decent mechanical and electrical skills. The camera resolution is very clear and appears to be better than the factory ones I've seen from this 2008 truck era. The shipping was extremely fast and camera source customer service answered my questions prior to my purchase. Great company with great people. I'd highly recommend this kit for your Chevy, just make sure you buy the correct one for your application.

Took about three hours to do the install. Works great.Update. Had a problem with the screen coming out of the camera. Called the company and they sent out a new cable and camera. Had the parts in 3 days and it works great. Customer service was outstanding.

Put this on my 2008 Sierra. Was easy to install and the directions were helpful. There are also youtube videos on the install of this camera from Camera Source.

Highly recommend very pleased.i was told buy the GM tech that the camera was more clear than the stock camera!!!
