Gaffer tape is hard to find and usually quite expensive when you find it. I ordered this via Amazon Prime and it arrived at my home on the same day that I placed my order! (Chicago suburbs, free shipping, too!). It also was quite a bit less expensive and higher in quality than the gaffer tape that I usually have found at art supply stores. I won't get it from art supply stores any more!Gaffer tape is great stuff as it is very easy to work with, and most importantly, doesn't leave a sticky residue when you take it up. It tears easily and straight without any scissors or knives, too.I use it for a lot of different things but my favorite has been to seal the perimeters around window air conditioners. It works perfectly for that purpose and the white tape blends right in with the white windows so you don't even notice it's there. (It's available in other colors, too). When I remove the air conditioners, there won't be a sticky tape residue left behind and it doesn't damage the window frames.Another common use for gaffer tape is to tape down electrical cords to the floor so people don't trip on them. It's the perfect solution for that as it, again, won't leave a sticky residue when it's removed.

I think this is the perfect tape. Very strong, fantastic hold and easy to peel with no residue or damage (I’ve had to use it on cabinetry, for example, and it didn’t harm the finish in the least). It’s the tape I reach for first. It literally has no downsides.

Where has this been all my life?? I originally was trying to find neon washi tape to decorate picture frames but none of them were actually neon. I decided to take a chance and see what this stuff was like and it was a GREAT decision and worth the money. You get a lot of tape and it is vibrant, bright and actually sticks and removes when you need it to. I had to adjust it several times trying to make sure I made it as straight as possible on the frames and it still stuck wonderfully after all that. It's a great way to experiment with colors without permanently changing frames/furniture/etc. If only they made it in every color and pattern under the sun!

I've heard about gaffers tape, but didn't give it any thought. But I ran into a situation in which my usual, duct tape, shouldn't be used. Duct tape tends to leave a lot of difficult to remove residue. If I do need to use the tape, I can't leave bad residue. While I haven't used it long enough to test for residue, short term it left none. I tried it on a worn, painted surface, on stainless steel, and plastic. Perfect! Also, it's much more flexible than duct tape, and conforms to awkward shapes. It has a cloth-like backing that seems very strong, yet it is fairly easy to tear by hand. And the adhesive is very sticky.I was looking for a highly rated, reasonably priced roll of gaffer tape, preferably a smaller roll. None of the smaller ones seemed to be that great, so I ordered this larger one. I'm glad I did! If it was cheaper, I'd replace duct tape with this completely.Highly recommended!

Worked great for what i used it for but didnt stay glowing long. I actually used it on my Jeep decorating it for holloween it was in the sun all day still didnt glow come night time. If i hit it with a flash light for a few seconds it glowed great but faded quickly.

This stuff is way better than the vinyl stuff with backing that has to be removed. Easy to tear off amp apply. Easy to write on. Easy to remove. Just great.

Got this for a friend of mine for Xmas. The contrast the colors give are fantastic. She has even taken one color off to swap for another and no concerns about taking them on and off! She loves it. Totally recommend

I tried this tape in place of clear weather seal tape to try to keep my thermal curtain liners in two large bay windows up against the painted plaster wall sealing warm air in the house. I have four cats who constantly move the curtains defeating the use of the rubberized liner. The tape arrived quickly and adhered very well to both the liners and the painted wall. The clear tape would fall off in a few hours but this one is still holding after a few days. You can also remove it without damaging the paint. While the cats still go in and out which is fine, the upper part of the curtain remains in place with more warm air staying inside where it belongs. Happy with my purchase. Great Seller! Thank you!

False advertising. It glows in the dark, but it's not gaffer tape, not even slightly.
