Last Day Blues (The Jitters Series) Paperback – Picture Book, January 30, 2006

Such a cute and funny book to read on the last day of school. My kiddos loved it! I even had them sign the front cover as a memory of my first class!

I read this to my daughter's 2nd grade class right before school ended. It was fun and they enjoyed it. Cute portrayel of students and teachers at the end of school year.

This book is a great way to end the school year. We started the year with First Day Jitters and “Jitter Juice” so this was the perfect follow up. To make it even more fun we had “Blues Juice” after reading it. I definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to start a fun tradition with their students.

I always start the school year off by reading The First Day Jitters as a springboard to discuss how the students are feeling on the first day of school. When I found The Last Day Blues, I didn’t hesitate in purchasing it, and I was not disappointed. It was the perfect way to end the year and talk about how we were feeling about the last day of school.

I read First Day Jitters on the first day of school and read Last Day Blues on the last day of school with my class. Used as a read aloud so the difficulty was fine for grade one students.

The pages came stuck together all with a bar at the top of multicoloured ink (clearly a printing mistake) and one ripped page
