Fiskars Garden Scissors, 7-in-1 Garden Shears Multi-Tool with Sheath, Great for Plant Trimming, Cutting Nursery Pots, Bags, and Wire

Pretty high quality for Fiskars and great utility. They are sharp and the little ceramic rods help keep them that way. I like the little swooshy spot on the blade that makes cutting rope easy. (I have a sailboat and have been replacing the running rigging - much cutting!) I use the wire cutter to pull the whipping needle. I haven't really used the detachable knife blade other than just fooling with it as I have a real knife, but I can see that it might be handy if the scissors were all you had within reach. I haven't used the bottle opener and am not sure why they went to such trouble to put it there, but it doesn't detract from anything. I like the hard case because it means I can just throw these scissors into my tool bag and not worry about them being damaged or damaging anything else. And yet I can withdraw the scissors from the case one-handed if I suddenly realize I need them. I have yet to figure out what that little protrusion on the bottom of the hard case is for...

These are amazing! This is my second set. The first has served as kitchen shears for the last ten years, still going strong, sharp as ever. This second set is for a trauma kit I’ll be keeping in my truck for emergency use. The two pieces separate easily without tools for cleaning and sharpening/maintenance, or use as knives individually. They come with a sheath that also serves as a sharpener. They can be had for a little over twenty bucks and are widely available. No affiliation, no commission. Just love these damn things. Excellent general purpose shears.

These are well built, sturdy, super strong and helpful for gardening. They have the ability to come apart which I've never seen before but it is a handy feature. They can cut things readily, even tough blister pack packaging that broke my other scissors. Having a case for the blade is really great. Perfect weight and size to keep in my gardening apron.

A great set of scissors, except that they “fall apart” very easily.They’re designed to be taken apart, but they seem to do it on their own more often than I wish.

I had been using a pair of cheap office/kitchen scissors from the junk drawer in the kitchen for all kinds of garden chores until I found these on Amazon. Always-reliable Fiskars quality, comfortable to grip, and with great functionality — notches to cut wire, rope, and twine; pointed awl tip; bottle opener; blades come apart, providing a knife for cutting cloth or plastic bags, cardboard, and more. Includes a sheath with a built-in ceramic sharpener. Really happy with the purchase; will replace my discount-store pruner and snips with Fiskars tools as well.

I use them for everything. I have a pair in the kitchen and a pair outside. They are easy to clean and cut everything easily.

Fiskers is the only brand of garden tools that i buy. consistently good quality and like the orange handle for errant placement.
