These were perfect for my little girls first dance recital! No runs because of the thickness and durability! Perfect about of pink color without being see-through!

My little ballet dancer loves these tights and so do I. They are durable and maintain their color well. We like the transition feature because she can flip the tights up to put on her regular shoes to get to and from dance and then pop them over her feet before slipping on her ballet slippers. I do hand wash them in warm water with gentle laundry detergent after each wearing and hang them to dry. A bit of oxyclean is occasionally needed on the toes and soles to get off black marks from her ballet shoes. She wears these two to three times per week for her 1.5hr class and a single pair normally lasts us 6-8 months before the knees become thinned from repeated kneeling and floor stretches. We normally just use them until the knees tear through all the way. I always have a second pair of these tights on hand and we are very pleased with them. We have tried other brands, but did not like them nearly as much and they didn't last. Depending on your girl's body type, these may come up really high, but my little girl doesn't find that uncomfortable. She is 8 years old and wears the size 2-6 tights and they come up to the base of her ribs and they stay put during class under her leotard.

I was on a quest for quality tights for our girls to wear with their school uniform jumpers. The reviews of this product as well as the transitional features are what sold me. These tights far exceeded my expectations even for everyday school wear vs. once a week for a few hours at dance class. The fit was as expected; perfect for our daughters so there's no figuring out whose tights are whose when getting dressed in the mornings. Another plus with tights in general (vs. socks) is that they're always ready to go after washing & drying. No need to find the match to make a pair (those infernal unmatched socks!). Despite frequent use, they have held up very well even out of the washing machine. To be honest I don't hand wash them as suggested - they wind up in the hamper more times than not! Other tights are subject to running and tearing even after one or two wears; or after a child in a hurry pulls them on way too quickly by the waistband, or poke their toe too forcefully out the end. They snag and sometimes sag out of shape. Not so with these. IMO, the hole at the bottom (which makes them transitional) actually prevents the toe-hole problem. It gives the toes somewhere to go rather than through the material! They are thin enough to be comfortable, but thick enough to provide warmth as well as remain durable. Because they are transition tights, the girls can walk around in their bare feet when they get home before changing out of their uniforms & not soil the soles. In fact, I liked the transition feature so much that I purchased a few pairs of women's transition tights for myself (different product listing, obviously)! I will purchase more as the school year progresses. My one complaint: I wish they were available in navy blue too!

Bought these for my son for ballet, thick tights but still see through when bending over, definitely wear black undergarments or double layer if you don’t want see through. Would be perfect to wear under a leotard. The fit is great and they are extremely durable.

These tights are excellent quality! We have been in dance for several years now and these are our favorite brand! They are thicker material and not as sheer as compared to brands like Target. The price can’t be beat either! We get through several classes before they rip once!

True to size

Use for my 5 year olds ballet class and they are perfect. Great quality, not to thick or hot on stage. The only thing is I would make sure you don't dry them because it ruins them very quickly.

My daughter is doing ballet 4 times a week, so we can’t imagine her ballet classes without these tights. Soft, fit well, value for money!

The size chart is seriously wrong. I bought the 8-12 sized tights for my 10 year old daughter and they are only about half the length of her legs.
