The first one of these arrived without the clear tube, but I got it replaced without issue. It’s so tiny and seems to be safer for my baby shrimp than my corner box filter. You don’t need anything crazy for a small aquarium, and it’s nice there’s finally an appropriate sized option. Super love this item and will but again if I get another small aquarium!

I can’t imagine that this would offer any substantial filtration for anyone with a fish tank. If you’re looking at this for your fish, the right solution is to get a bigger tank. Whatever this would go into is too small for any fish. It is great for moving the water in my planted bowl.

I like this small filter. The only problem is that it is fairly buoyant. Eventually it will stay down as long as you have a suction cup with an air-line holder in place. I think the newer style weighted sponge filters work better. Also, there is no place for an airstone which i believe is very helpful. Overall : a good little filter.

The media could not be loaded. I just got my little sponge filter. The box says up to 10 gallons aquarium, idk about that. It has small media, so I’m not sure if that’s okay for a bigger tank. But I will test it out eventually. At this moment, everything is flowing smoothly. I have a valve that helps me lower the airflow, therefore, it’s soft for my betta. This is a 2 gallon tank at the moment, I am planning to move my betta to a 5 gallon tank, I will use this filter to test it out. Other than that, everything is going smooth. I will edit (if I remember) later on as the weeks pass.

I love this mini filter! My 5 gallon aquarium had a algae bloom and this filter seems to be clearing it up nicely. It’s very quiet. I love that it doesn’t take up much room in my 5 gallon and my Betta seems happy with it. The suction is effective but not overwhelming powerful. Thank you!

I do nano bowls/tanks and these are my go-to filter. They fit in the palm of your hand and do a great job.

The size is great for 1 gallon small tank and it’s pretty powerful. But it won’t sink and stay at the bottom like other sponge filter. It just floating. I used one suction cup to hold it but it still won’t stay at the bottom.
