WAY TOO SMALL!!! I ordered a 7/8, for a average size 8 yr old. There is not much stretch or give to this cotton fleece. He would struggle to put it on... So, I would size up maybe 2 Sizes. (will follow up when next size arrives). I do appreciate the detail in the zipper (a little hard to pull), and the patches are sewn on. I will follow up in comparison, after the larger sizes arrives.

Kindergartener loved this back to school hoodie! It is now his go to sweater to wear. The reviews said it fit small and it did. My 5 year old usually wears size 6 hoodies with lots of room but I sized up to a 7 because of the reviews. It fits perfect for now and it did not shrink much in the wash. Probably could have even gone with an 8 and it be a bit oversized. Other than the sizing, it is an good quality hoodie that I would buy again!
