Recommend not putting tp in here so it doesn't stick in the bottom of the tank but there was no smell it was secure easy to empty and lasted me a months worth of pee. We had to number 2 once in it and that worked fine too. The flushing mechanism was great and has a water tank on top to wet flush as well as use the bidet which is just a spray nozzle. Recommend flushing with lid closed so you don't get splash back from the pressure. Best travel toilet worth every penny. I used this in my van and it didn't budge

I purchased this Alpcour Portable Toilet for my little Chalet camper for several reasons. First was the height. It is perfect! No more almost falling to the floor due to the low height of my old one. It's also very stable. I liked the idea of the piston type flusher vs the bellows on my old one. The bellows, being made of plastic eventually broke off on the old one. The other thing I really like is the spout for emptying it, so much easier and less chance of splashing. Although I did not hook up the hose for rinsing the bowl on my first trip out with it I like the idea and will try it next time. I did think the price was a bit high, however after using it I find it is worth every penny and with Prime shipping it came the next day! Others I looked at would have taken 2 weeks! I ordered this because I travel long distances and live in the desert. Sometimes a restroom is not always around and I enjoy drinking water. I needed something for those incidents where I need to have a pit stop urgently... I wanted something tall enough and not too low to the ground but not too high. This product is perfect. It's sturdy, works well and the sprayer it a great addition as is the carry case. I drive an SUV and it fits perfect in the back cargo area. Tight seal and no leaks/smells. Carry bag is sturdy as well and will work when I need to empty the tank and don't want the whole world knowing I am holding a toilet. I looked at a lot of models and this one for the price and accessories is a great value.

Serves its purpose for what I need it for. Easy set up, easy clean out. The only downside the third week of dumping the full gauge did not go back to green. It stays red now.

Absolutely no odor escapes, works easily and a good amount of water comes out with the flush. It seems high quality. It was fairly easy to clean, and it wasn't too heavy to move around. The longer spout made it easy to empty. Honestly, I dont know how you could empty without the long spout without splashing everywhere. Very useful to have on camping trips in these times of closed bathrooms.

This toilet was perfect for my recent road trip. It never emitted an odor. It never leaked. It was easy to empty and clean out (although I never used it for poop, only urine). It stayed upright while driving and was very convenient while sleeping in my van.

I have had a Coleman portable toilet in my camper for years pretty much only for overnight use, since we do have access to a bathhouse at the places where we camp. That said, there were times that this smaller capacity toilet will fill up and without any way of knowing how full it was, needless to say it was a disaster waiting to happen. Well, that happened one night when my DIL used it, flushed, and it overflowed. Well, that was the first and last time for that. I immediately started looking for a larger capacity portable toilet. This Alcour fit the bill and I could not be happier that it actually has a water-level indicator gauge so that you are able to know when/if dumping is required! Couldn't be happier with this purchase. I love, too, that it sits higher than the Coleman did, making is much easier to use.

UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM.Believe it or not, I'm not a camper or outdoorsman. I use this toilet in my own place due to sharing my space with someone who uses our provided toilet poorly. It got so bad that I just needed my own toilet all together. This toilet is worth the price and has made my life so much easier. I had concerns before but after using it for a while and doing my own inspections, I found it to be lovely. I haven't had it long, but so far I love it.UPDATE: Although this toilet is nice, I would not recommend it for everyday use as a normal house toilet. It is fine for what it is intended for, which is camping. Using it everyday becomes a hassle, because you have to clean it a lot more often and if you don't the smell begins to become trapped within the toilet no matter how much you bleach it. (The smell became too much and I had to store it away) Don't use this as an everyday toilet, I can stress that enough.
