Elkton Outdoors Auklet Sit On Top Fishing Kayak, Multiple Sizes. with SmartTrack Rudder Steering System, Aluminum Paddle, Rod Holders and Dry Storage Compartment

I was looking for a sit on kayak that would double for recreational and fishing use. I also wanted a pedal operated rudder as I will use it both in rivers and calm ocean waters. This kayak fit my needs well and being at 55 lbs it was at the upper end but manageable for transporting on top of the car. I use a kayak dolly for longer hauling from car to water. It is of good quality, has plenty of rod locations, storage and carrying handles on front, back and sides. The packaging for shipment was excellent. My only negative comment was that the instructions for the small amount of assembly required were severely lacking. Don't understand why companies can't seem to manage that! Nevertheless we figured it out and all is well. Great value.

I've only had it out once for an hour. I tracked pretty well and was very stable. The adjustable foot rest/rudder controls slipped a few times. I might need to rig up something so that they dont flip up and slide all of the way forward. I still havent figured out where the adjustable pole holder mounts to. None of the pre drilled holes line up. I also tried to install boat cleats to the pre drilled holes in the side and they are about a 16th off.
