Unlike the most of N3B parkas made from a shiny Nylon, Snorkel Parka is made from Oxford Nylon and has a matt finish. It features a handwarmer pocket and covered deep pocket on each side, as well as a single sleeve zip pocket on the left arm with detachable high-quality embroidered “Remove before flight” strip to be used as an accessory attached to bags or otherwise. The hood is lined with a soft, smooth to the touch faux-fur fabric and trimmed with a removable faux-fur hood lining. The hood is also adjustable by means of a toggle at the rear. Closing is by means of a chunky metal (Aluminum) zip which is then covered by a storm flap classically secured by loops and buttons. Although well padded with insulation Polyester material, it is not heavy to wear.

Slim Fit is no joke!!!
I normally wear US sizes L or XL. I also own 2 other N3-B parka which are not slim fit (one USAF military issue, one Alpha Industries). The 2XL I ordered fits like an L. May also be worth up-sizing if you are tall, as the upper set of pockets are at an uncomfortable angle for my hands on the 2XL, and I am a pretty average 5'9".With sizing out of the way, material qualities seem good, no weird smells or anything, and the coat is very warm. The majority of the branding is easily removable (the weird logo badge above the right arm pocket is just on two buttons with normal buttonholes, so it can be taken off, and then you just have two random black buttons on your sleeve). Hood fur is nice and soft, and the fact that it is removable is very nice.I mainly purchased this because I have been looking for an orange N3-B parka for years, and this is the first one I've seen. Although the matte finish is nice, it would be cool to find one in Blaze Orange with orange faux fur as well, so that it would be a usable hunting jacket.

Was Skeptical, But Surprised!
I was skeptical of this parka before I received it. I'd been eyeing it a while, because of all the features, but similar coats run twice as much, and it's made in China, so I was nervous, but free returns, so I gave it a shot.I was legit surprised. This parka is everything I was hoping for and then some! Very sturdily built, lots of zippered and snap pockets, super warm, waterproof... it's just perfect.Details: I'm 5'9" / 170lbs, and it fits perfectly everywhere.10/10 def recommend

this coat fits great and is better then expected
this coat fits better then i thought it would and the hood even has the feathers inside the hood which keeps me warm . plus it fits great and the cost is worth it . i could not find a coat like this any place other then here cause i wanted a blue coat and no place i looked had the blue one with the cost within what i wanted to pay . so if u order your coat from here u can not go wrong . It looks and feels just like my old USAF issue N3-B. Haven't taken it to where it is really going to be tested yet. So I'll be back after I do and give it it's proper review.

Great looking jacket
Tried this jacket on and I look like Han Solo from Empire Strikes Back!!! So awesome ! I got this for my Alaska cruise and can’t wait to use it.
