An amazing Value: Valhalla for the win!
For $120, what's not to love? The satin grip is amazing on this and of better quality than I thought it would be. The would is beautiful and the cue has a great smooth finish which I love and didn't find with my Action brand cue. The nickel sized tip is great if you prefer that size of taper, which I do, and it hits great. Straight as an arrow!

Great value.
Great for intermediate player. The stick is well made and very straight. I will purchase another one with a smaller tip diameter and different tip for experimentation. Fancy inlays mean nothing to me and the plain stain on this cue looks great.

Why pay more?
Just received this Valhalla cue stick and I am thoroughly impressed. Well packed in a cardboard tube inside a padded box, it arrived completely unscathed. Arrow straight and beautifully finished. After playing a few racks, I’m convinced of its quality. If you need lots of bling, inlays and such, look elsewhere. This stick, however, is simply handsome, well made, and will bring out your best without being flashy. For $100, you’re getting a great stick punching well above its weight for a great price.PS - While it appears somewhat orange in the photos, it’s actually a deeper, mahogany color - beautiful!

My go to cue.
First time using a viking cue, so far it has been great using it as a non breaking cue. As for comfort it is easy on the hands and the color design is very nice. Super good grip doesn't take much to hold on place. I like the way they took the time to put the cues in a tube for shipping.

A Love Story
I've been playing for about a year, but very seriously (I have a fantastic coach, I play on a league, and I play up to 25 hours a week at most). During this time I've done lots of research, talked to lots of players, and played with LOTS of different cues and shafts (around 12 or so), including a number of popular carbon fiber shafts, like the Revo, and plenty of expensive "low deflection" wooden shafts. But I started on this cue, and I must say, I don't think I've ever loved playing with any other cue as much as this one. It has fantastic feedback and feel, the best shaft texture, and an exceptional front-heavy balance (due to the solid maple shaft) that makes it easy to 'guide' the shaft gently into the ball. Only this shaft and a few expensive McDermotts have made me feel like I don't even have to think about my speed control and position-play; the cue just feels intuitive. Also, the blue cue looks gorgeous in-person and has a wonderful wood-grain look to it--it is honestly one of the nicest looking cues I've played with. So, I've decided to ditch all the fancy stuff and stick with this. I truly love this cue.

Viking Quality At A Moderate Price.
It's essential to have an "arrow straight" cue that is buttery smooth, solid, and balanced that can be aimed with accuracy and precision to give every player, from beginner to pro, the best opportunity to "make the shot". It's apparent Viking has put everything they've learned into this moderate price point cue for the player to get the most out of it. The design, the build (China), and the quality control is excellent. A product Viking can be proud of and players can use with confidence. I chose Natural, Irish linen wrap. It might look plain...it's everything but. Exactly what I wanted and got. Thank you Viking.
