It is a lot lighter in color than I thought it would be. More of a grey than brown on the bamboo. Overall I'm ok with it. I saw alot of people complain about how to put it on. I'll share my trick and it works wonderfully for this kind of background. Use a spray bottle with soapy water. Spray the outside of the tank give it a quick clean then spray again do not wipe away the soapy water. Spray the backside of the background(yes the backside) place against the tank this will help you get an idea of aliagning your background it will also keep it flat so that you can pull away the plastic film covering the background. Once you have removed the film spray the sticky side with the soapy water and flip the background around so that the soapy sticky water side is now facing the tank. I used a plastic speader that came with a car decal to slowly press the air bubbles from the background. I started from the middle top and slowly worked my way down and to the sides. Came out beautifully. I do think with this particular background the bigger the size the better. The way its made a smaller background would be more fuzzy and distorted. My tank is a 36gal bow front so it wasn't as bad as some reviews about the distortion.

I was dumb and didn’t realize this was single sided- still gorgeous even backwards! Definitely would recommend, even more so if you have a glass tank and can use it correctly 🤦🏻‍♀️

Design is nice, it looks okay overall but very opaque and cheap/plastic looking when tank lights are turned off. Perfect for anyone who has a tank against the wall.

I have read a lot of reviews saying too light. As you see on my 30 gallon it looks great. First thing is it is supposed to be light faded wood. Secondly if you have it tight to glass it will be more defined. If you lay it out flat, With something over it for a day. Then take common vegetable oil spread it over back ground with a paper towel. Place oil side against glass. Then smooth out and pull all air bubbles out with credit card. It will stay tight to glass, untill you decide to remove it.

The colors for this are not nearly bright like the image of it. Barely see any color. Even with plants added you can’t tell what the background looks like.

For the price it should be better quality in picture. The colors are not as dark and prominent as in seller photos. The shipping could be better. Mine came with crinkles to deep to iron and smooth out and it shows on the tank. Very annoyed looking at it. I would steer clear of this product if you are OCD or perfectionist. Or care about your investments.

You'll have to be very cautious when sticking the backing on the aquarium glass. The experience is similar to sticking on a phone screen protector i.e the air bubbles are annoying. Take your time to pop out the bubbles

Size is perfect, gives an inch on either side to make sure you get the whole thing covered. However, the image itself is washed out on colors, and looks grainy like it had been blown up too much.
