This game is only good if you want to read a story on the switch. It’s not worth it at all. Where’s the real fishing games at?!? Cause this is the first game I put in my switch, the story was so long and boring I didn’t get to fish at all?! What happened to just straight up fishing?! My first thoughts on the story what does a painting gotta do with fishing?! And who the hell cares if it’s hot outside?! Don’t you wanna fish?!? I tried clicking past the story, but it legit kept talking up a storm... JUST WANNA FISH!!!!

Fun game

This is one of if not the best games I have ever had the pleasure of purchasing. It has everything you could want action, adventure, a love story, and a deep plot intertwined with different factions and some mythology. Also has fish. GOTY worthy title.

I just recently got this and I already joy playing it and now I wish they did more just like this one. :D

This game sucks so bad. I wish I could leave 0 stars. You listen to them talk for 20 minutes. Then when it comes time to fish. Press ZR to cast, reel, catch. Everything is ZR. Very very unrealistic.

A nice, simple game to play to relax. It can get a little repetitive and takes time to build up materials, but I don't mind that too much. A face-value game.

Wow, this game is garbage. You spend the first 20 mins reading dialog from anime characters that is boring. When you finally fish the mechanics are so slow and unexciting. You fish for 2 mins and then its back to a bunch of boring dialog. The developers have no clue how to make a fishing game. This game stinks really bad.

Good realistic images - BUT unrealistic fishing action. The rods, reels, and tackle are generic and do not operate like they do in real life. This game is actually a fishing Role Playing Game. Your fishing ability is modified by your allies’ cooking and crafting abilities, and all abilities can be levelled up by assigning earned skill points and materials collected. In fact, the RPG elements can really break up game play. Clicking through the prologue chapter caused my eyes to glaze over before finally starting the actual fishing quests.Good visuals, minimal but realistic sounds, fairly unrealistic game play. Interesting, if a little weird role playing element (like collecting turnips so you can cook corn on the cob, to ultimately boost your fishing stamina by 8%)... A decent diversion but not fishing.
