Update: if I could give 10 stars I would. Only had this 2 weeks and used it to grab and dispatch a copperhead that was engaging with my dogs. It’s very sturdy, easier to use and love the feature to lock the jaw once snake is caught. ******This grabber is a little pricier than others but it arrives ready to use and perfectly functional. I also bought a cheap version so I could have these at different locations on my farm. The cheap one required assembly and cable adjustment so I'll be returning it and ordering a 2nd one of these. In a moment of snake (copperhead) wrangling I want a tool that works with no adjustment required!

I literally use this crazy thing for everything. I’ve even used it for a snake once but I’m sure it works excellent for a snake. I have tugged and pulled on this thing way harder than I should have and it has not failed me yet. Excellent product highly recommended well built

Excellent tool. Not only works excellent for snakes, but also excellent for grabbing other things that’s out of reach. It’s well built and worth every penny. The only issue I have is that the handle lock is worthless. I would never depend the handle lock. Your better off squeezing the handle manually because you can feel the pressure of what your grabbing much better. I never use the handle lock.

I loved mine and it handled removing at least 12 4' snakes and I've had it almost 3 years but my lock fell off on the last catch. I'm buying another exactly the same because of the light weight. I'm a 110 lb 76 yr old woman. Two, one one each end of my home will comfort me. Great performance. Only 4 stars because the latch on my 1st failed (disappeared).

Got to use this for the first time the other day! It was so easy to use and finally allows me to transport snakes to a different location without having to kill the good ones. Quality is great, very sturdy, and I have no fear that the snake will get lose while transporting.

Order this! Now! We live in the country and find a slithery friend around the house way too often. This thing makes handling them a breeze! It provides enough distance between you and the target to where you dont have to feel like you are up close and in the strike zone. The grip is great. It has held on tightly to some thick copperheads. I feel MUCH more confident taking care of business with this tool! Worlds of difference. Wish I had found this sooner! Would 10000% buy this again.

Ordered this based on other reviews for use as grabber for branches, yard trash, etc. This think works GREAT! Highly recommend for picking up small branches provided they are not real heavy. Lightweight but sturdy construction and the 5' length gives you leverage to handle heavier loads than smaller grabbers might. Probably works great for grabbing snakes as well, but hopefully I won't have to test out that ability.

These things will literally cut and make in half if you aren’t careful. The amount of force that the jaws can generate is crazy - don’t go playing around and use them to grab your friends are because you might end up breaking it.It’s light but well made and should last for at least multiple years if not decades as long as you don’t abuse it by stacking stuff on top of it in a truck bed or something and then go bouncing down the road.
