Riboflavin is an important energy-producing B Vitamin and one that some people, due to genetic differences, may have difficulty absorbing in standard forms. This is where R-5-P comes in--you can kind of think of it as a "pre-digested" riboflavin--one that's easier for some people to assimilate. How do you know if you need it? Well, one clue is if you have lifelong "chapped lips" or cracks in the corners of your lips. This can be caused by allergies to toothpaste ingredients OR, it could be a sign of riboflavin deficiency. Happily, this works GREAT for me, with no nausea, like "regular" high-dose riboflavin would sometimes give me. If you decide to try this, a common side effect of riboflavin supplementation is a neon-yellow coloring of your urine. Don't panic-- it's harmless. I'd recommend taking a few minutes to research riboflavin and R-5-P online before taking. Knowledge is Power--inform yourself before undertaking any supplementation program! Effective and reasonably priced! They’re very special because this is the activated form of vitamin B2 (ribosil-5-phosphate). That makes it easier to absorb and and more effective because it doesn’t have to be converted. It’s ready to go to work. it’s already more effective than the non-activated form of B2. Cb

yes I love it and have now ordered 2 more directly from Swanson, because of Amazon limiting the quantity on some of my orders, I find it very necessary to order elsewhere....and by the way it is much cheaper directly from Swanson. So my suggestion is to check all of your items prices!

Wellness supplements

I started taking this about a week ago and am so impressed with the results. I have had very low energy levels and have frequent morning headaches and occasional migraines. I bought this after reading about the reduced migraine benefit, but it has also improved my energy levels and reduced my morning headaches and grogginess. I have been taking them at night along with a magnesium supplement (although most people advise to take them during the day as they may cause insomnia.)

B vitamins are important every day, especially if you're eating the standard American diet. I was taking a basic vitamin B2 Riboflavin before this product until I found out that the "activated" or "methylated" forms are better. I saw this product and am impressed with the results. I have psoriasis/eczema and have noticed an improvement in my skin. Before taking this product, I got rid of 95% of my patches and irritated areas on my own. This product brought it up to 99% gone, so that tells me there's value in this product.
