Okay But Needs Improvement
I live and mountain bike in a region where the temperatures are hot and humid almost year-round; about 10 months of the year. Having clothing that keeps one cool while offering functionality/protection is key. I tried the Baleaf Pure Black style underwear with hopes this would solve part of the problem of body heat.FITAt first, walking around the underwear was okay, but after a short 8 miles ride, I was a little tender in the crotch area from chafing on my legs. The problem is that this underwear is a little too wide in that area. Additionally, the padding for the sit bones is not that great either. It does not offer the coverage that my other riding shorts offer. When comparing this underwear to my other name brand riding shorts, you can easily see a difference in the padding coverage for the sit bone area. The padding thickness is good, it’s just the padding coverage that is lacking. I am pointing this out because these are supposed to be a replacement for longer riding shorts, but in my opinion, the design needs a little improvement for proper body geometry fit.SIZINGI tried a small, medium and large because brand sizing varies (vanity sizing). Small was definitely too small. It was a toss between medium and large. The large was comfortable, but definitely loose (too loose – not fitting to shape) in the leg openings. The medium fit well but is little snug on the leg openings. I decided to go with the medium thinking they would possibly stretch a little after use and washing like some reviewers mentioned, but after three rides and washings nothing. Note: I wash in cold water and line dry. At least they are keeping their shape. Also, I didn’t try any Chamois Butt'r, but I don’t have to use this with any of my other riding shorts. If it helps, I am in great athletic shape at 5’-8” at 150 lbs.CONCLUSIONThe shorts fit but are not comfortable enough to keep using because the crotch area is too wide which causes chafing and sit bone padding does not have enough coverage. If these two aspects are addressed, this underwear would be amazing.****** Please let me know if this review was helpful by clicking the “Helpful” button below***** THANK YOU!

They fit snugly but comfortably (I'm a size 22 in jeans) and the padding ...
After I cried to a friend about how much my butt hurt after spin class, she suggested padded underwear, and since I need a 2X and plus size options are limited, I tried these. They fit snugly but comfortably (I'm a size 22 in jeans) and the padding doesn't feel awkward or bulky. They don't feel gross when you've worked up a sweat, and they're easy enough to wash and dry. I'll say this though, when you weigh over 200lbs I don't think there's much of any cushion that'll help you as much as just continuing to attend class or go riding and getting used to it! (And losing weight over time.) The first couple times wearing these I was still brand new to cycling so my butt was going to hurt no matter what. After 6-7 classes with them, maybe they make a difference? Hard to tell, but I'll keep wearing them anyway.

My favorites over the past 30 years of using chamois for cycling.
As good as “hundred dollar” cycling underwear. Stay in place. Doesn’t ride up or down. Cooler than knee length. Padding in the right places- - No padding in the places where you don’t want it. So cheap that you don’t feel extravagant for buying 2. A+Suspect negative reviews are infrequent riders. No chamois feels good to wear apres biking. When ride is done you need dry clothes not a damp chamois against your skin. Now I can wear any summer shorts (or cross country ski pants instead of sport specific cycling clothes in the cooler months ). One less wardrobe and expense.

Great for equestrians too!
I don't cycle but ride Dressage, and after having a baby I just can't sit the trot like I used to. They make padded underwear for equestrians but the price is outrageous, so I decided to give these a try. I'm very happy with the cushioning, my seat bones aren't sore after a lesson and I'm able to actually sit appropriately to help my horse move better. I do wish they came in white, because I won't be able to wear these during competition, with white breeches.I'm a size 6, I bought the medium (6/8) and the fit is very snug, I will probably buy a size up next time.

Worked great on 25-32 mile a day week bike tour.
Use these for 10 mile plus joy rides at home. Put to the test on bike and barge tour where mileage was 25-32 miles a day for a week. Comfortable and protective. No soreness or chafing. Fit like a champ. Dried overnight. This style and size small fit well--5 foot 3 inches 111 pounds. Other brands were too big, didn't fit and were given away to friends. Had three pairs for trip, but really only needed two. Great value.

Not the best for comfort
I bought these cause my butt bones hurts so bad when riding. I wish they were a bit more padded in the front. Instead they are padded more in the back where my seat doesn't even touch my butt. I would not suggest these if youre looking for something to help riding be more pleasurable. I can definitely ride longer when I do wear them, but eventually I end up with the same pain as if I was wearing none at all cause they are padded in the wrong place.

Not all they are cracked up to be
The shorts are not made for girls with thick thighs or rear end. They roll up because they are so short. Also butt pad isn’t as comfy as other brands.

Comfortable ride
I bought these for the cycle class I recently started. They make a big reduction in my soreness following the class. I was worried a bit that the padding would be obvious through my leggings when I was walking through the gym, but it doesn’t seem too bad. I bought them in black briefs and also the pink boy shorts. Both offer good padding but I prefer the black pair as the padding stays in place better than with the boy short style.

Soo Comfy!
I’m a big girl on a bike and although I wear padded shorts and use chamois cream I have to say that having chunky thighs makes padded shorts quite uncomfortable as the padding is so wide and gets kinda all pushed upwards, bunches and sometimes causes more soreness than the saddle itself. I also find the elastic around the legs cuts in. Also being a big girl, I over heat significantly. Therefore wearing shorts over shorts with knee pads gets me quite uncomfortably hot. I have been considering padded knickers for sometime but was dubious about seam rub. However, I bought these and tried them out today, and oh wow! I have never been more comfy on my bike. The padding was much narrower than in my Endura and Altura shorts, no bunching, no rubbing and no cream required. Also lots cooler on my legs! I wasn’t dying to get them off at the end of my ride, I didn’t feel like I was walking like John Wayne and although today was a shortish ride, I have high hopes for them!

Good
So far so good, not tried them on a bike just yet but fit very well. I’m size 10 so went for medium - seem to fit ok. Trying them in the gym tomorrow so if not v good will update

Would buy again . . .
Really impressed with these! I feared the padding may be in the wrong position as with most female cycling pants, but no - several rides in and there is no sign of the saddle soreness.I am size 12 and ordered a large pair which are a comfortable fit.

Padding sits fine. Good quality
I’m a size 14. I ordered a Large, fit perfect. I wanted padded pants rather than leggings/shorts as I already have leggings I wear and I’m happy with. I did a 35mile cycle on the road bike today, no issues at all. Very happy. The padding sits just fine. I will probably order another pair eventually

Entspricht meinen Erwartungen!
