MBT Rocker Bottom Shoes Men’s – Everyday Casual Sandals Kisumu 3S

Virtually every aspect of this sandal is adjustable so very wide feet can be accommodated without purchasing a shoe the size of a canoe. I had plantar fasciitis that was so bad I had to crawl to the bathroom in the morning after being off my feet all night. I pronated badly and wore out normal shoes in record time. I went to a shoe store, nearly 20-years ago, that specialized in foot disorders and they suggested the MBT dress shoes and sandals. I purchased one pair of nice looking dress shoes (they were expensive) and within weeks, much of the foot pain had subsided. I purchased more dress shoes and they were the only shoes I ever wore -- much less expensive than a podiatrist. Within a few weeks I was walking normally and had zero foot pain. Now in retirement, I wear MBT sandals and have several pairs -- I absolutely swear by them and recommend them to anyone if what I have written sounds familiar. I will not own any other brand. Note: they take a little getting used to . . . they are designed to have you walking correctly. Invest in them; give them a chance, you will be hooked.

Now that I am in the market for an additional ones, I thought to write a review on the ones I bought in July 2017. I live in the SW consequently I use the sandals a lot. They are excellent sandals very well built and most comfortable. It takes a little used to in the beginning because of the sole shape and the walking on the sand effect. It is perfect for my bad back. I do not use them in water and rarely on a sandy beach consequently I cannot evaluate them under these conditions. But on regular and constant use the sandals are very durable. I will be buying another one soon in a different color; so now I will have two of them.

I've worn MBT's for 10 years and love them. I can no longer find them in our local shoe stores so found them online. When these arrived I could immediately tell the normal MBT quality was no longer there. Cheaper construction, cheaper materials, not near as comfortable and nowhere near as supportive in the arch like previous sandals. This will probably be my last pair. I'm on the hunt for something comparable now. That's too bad too. Because I don't mind to pay top dollar for a top shoe at $180.00 but not for this reduced quality

I was so happy to find that the Kisumu is made like it used to be made, but I think it’s because I ordered a MEN’s size (albeit smaller)! The last two Kisumu MBTs I purchased (in the last 8 years) were not soft anywhere, and they hurt my feet. They were WOMENS, like I used to buy nearly 2 years ago, but the fit and quality had jumped the shark. Until these. Got them yesterday…wore them all day today. Love them!!!!

Basically a great rocker-sandal, seems nicely-made. It replaces a worn-out "identical" pair but uses a snap-clasp instead of velcro for the ankle strap, which is hard to reach, see and operate. Unlike the predecessor, these soles are a very high-friction material, and where you put your foot down is EXACTLY where it stops! i am still trying to learn to not trip with them!

I wear a 38, which seems to sell out fast. This was my 2nd attempt to receive the right size, this time I received a 39. Not perfect, but I can get my foot into the shoe. This is like the model I bought in 2005 and is very comfy. Perfect for sciatica and correcting leg position. So my final word is, make sure you double check the EU size against the USA size and the UK size. They are all different and do not match each other.

So far (4 weeks) my lower back pain has gone. No cushioning. I had back pain with my squishy Hoka's & Teva's. Caveat - You will not get the full rolling action unless you "stride" rather than just walk. I am doing stretching exercises for my calf muscles so I can rotate my feet higher.

Hemos usado estas sandalias anteriormente y eran bastante atractivas, dentro de este estilo. Esta vez han venido en un marrón mucho más claro y ortopédico. Cómodos pero feos.
