Alternanthera Reineckii VAR. Roseafolia Telanthera Freshwater Red Stem Live Aquarium Plant

Beautiful, and thriving.
Could just be luck of the draw, but I've purchased this same aquarium plant from various sellers including local fish stores and online stores, and have never had one succeed. For some reason, this one has thrived for nearly two months now. It is well established at this point, so I'm confident it will continue to thrive. And I have it in an African Cichlid tank! Everyone tries to say you can't have a planted African Cichlid tank, but I decided not to believe the internets on that one and quite frankly, I now have a thriving planted African Cichlid tank and this plant is right in the center foreground. Oh yeah, I also don't listen to people about which plants should go in the foreground, lol.Oh, but fair warning: The color of these plants is affected by many factors, so your plant is not likely to be just all solid red the way the picture shows it. It's more red, purple, and brownish-green, and beautiful. If you're looking for pure red plants, good luck with that, but you're probably going to have to buy plastic ones.

Waste of money.
Plant showed up milded, a waste of money.

Very good plants
Plants arrived very healthy. No roots but grow easily within a week. Leaves start out green but slowly turn red like in the picture. Just make sure to have proper lighting and add api leaf zone.

Short lifespan
Flourishing when arrived, but after a few days in tank it started dying. I'm sure not all plants and tanks are the same, therefore you don't know how the plant will react.

Little disappointed, but will give it a shot
°These plants had nothing that looked like roots.°Packaging was good°As from the picture shows, these dont look to healthy. I will give them a month to see what happens. If the roots do not grow, i will toss these. Will update February 22, 2021°There were 9 individuals wrapped together.Well i dont need to wait 30days for an update, half the plants have died, not worth buying. There no roots and the stems withered away causing the rest of the plant to detach (plants were not in heavy water flow).

You get what you pay for. Not good quality.
I went the cheap route, and you get what you pay for. I have never ordered aquatic plants online. This experience makes me hesitant to try it again. Over all presentation when I opened the box was not good. Multiple cutting were broken (maybe they will root and grow). After rinsing the slime and decaying plant material at least the color resembled the photo stock image. I will edit this review if they ever appear to root and grow.

Plants arrived in good condition
Normal sized “bunch” plant. It is healthy, intact and will fill in nicely in a month or so. I am happy with my purchase as the plants are healthy and in great shape. Well done to this vendor.

Good value for aquatic plants
I got approximately 10 plant clippings, well packaged and very healthy looking. I didn't see any hitchhikers, but I briefly soaked in water with a small amount of alum just in case. Trimmed up the clippings and worked on sticking in gravel of receiving tank. Already had bright light on tank, just added a little bit of fertilizer for the new plants. A couple weeks later and while it looks like a few leaves got nibbled on, the clippings are doing pretty well. No loss of color.
