MADE IN CHINA!!
The 'Rush Creek Story' doesn't include the fact that it is made in China! Nor does it include the information that it's made with toxic chemicals that can cause cancer and birth defects. 'Handcrafted' probably means by the tiny little hands of children in sweatshops. I returned this piece of junk promptly.

Rustic but functional
This is prefinished pine. Suitable for you cabin in the woods. My kit was missing one of the bolts needed to assemble it. I sent the company an email — nothing. Can’t finish putting it together without that 1-1/4” bolt with a 38 thread. American hardware stores do not sell that bolt and the bolt is designed to mate with a “nut” that is always in the frame so I can’t make a substituting. I do not recommend this product.

2 of the "rests" broke off while I was gone and 3 long guns hit the floor. No serious damage other than scope problems. The wood used was cut so that the grain runs vertically and that is where the rest broke was along the grain. none of the guns would be considered heavy. Contacted manufacturer via email and was ignored. Don't put anything heavier than a fishing rod on the rack.

Works but has some quirks
I picked this up in the American flag version.. cause why not.Assembly was pretty straight forward, the 2 cross supports are bolted into the rifle rack via 2 bolts on each side, 4 bolts for both top and bottom. Build quality is OK. its particle board, but it seems to be pretty sturdy. There is some felt or some other soft substance where the rifles rest on the cradles so that is a plus.Cons.. Do not use the included mounting hardware.. not worth the hassle.. Head to the hardware store and get some better options. I don't really like how I have to hang some rifles upside down.. the balance is off and they tend to flop over. Hanging them upside down they naturally settle, and are pretty stable.Biggest complaint is upside down hanging rifles.

Most of my rifles and shotguns won't fit in rest pockets......
Have two of these....different color. The look and quality of these is paper over cheap press-wood. The real problem is how narrow the rest pockets are - ONLY for guns with older design stocks. Not friendly for optics or extended forestocks. I am going to have toremove the foam stripping and "oval-out" or curve-out the underside of each support arm with a jigsaw. I have only two guns that rest so-so - of over a dozen plus rifles and shotguns that mostly won't even insert, none rest properly because of this. Probably less work to make them from scratch. Wish I would have assembled them right away and NOT mounted them to my wall. Should have tried guns right after mounting, but who would have thought??

Do not use the supplied mounting screws.
This rack is easy to assemble with the provided bolts and allen wrench (envision Ikea). The laminate looks good and the padding is nice. A customer service contact was provided in the package but I'm not going to use it. My only issue is with the mounting screws that broke off half way into the wall anchors. Calling customer service to get 4 more bad screws won't help. I am certainly irritated that I have 4 new holes in my wall that I have to patch, and that I have to move the rack from the "ideal" location. That being said, I'd still buy it, just don't use the provided mounting screws.

Throw away Factory Hardware your guns will be on the floor otherwise.
Easy to assemble. Went on the wall fast, looks fairly decent can't beat the price. Does its job well. Use spring Molly's on drywall or tapcons on concrete do not use Factory provided crap! You should stagger the weapons to keep the weight fairly balanced.

High Quality
So this is much higher quality than I expected for the price. I had read a review that said it was cheaply made, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was sturdy, easy to assemble, and the flag relief finish looks very good. I have received many compliments on this so far. I keep five lever action rifles on it. Two Marlin and three Henrys. The holes are space so that I could hit studs which makes it much more secure.

Hardware is not good enough
If you are trying to install on Gyps or dry wall then you need better wall plugs that can hold the weight of 5 guns and probably some scopes. I wouldn't risk my equipment with the existing cheap wall plugs and screw set.
