Elementary Apologetics (Teacher Guide) (Answers for Kids) Paperback – Teacher's Edition, March 1, 2017

Excellent!!!!

I am a big fan of MasterBooks programs and was grateful for a chance to review this product, which I hope to use with my children when they are older. I love the Answers for Kids series, and this apologetics course uses that set as the primary text. Not being able to use it for my own kids as my oldest is just not quite ready for it yet, I think it looks to be a good overview of basic doctrine and theology. I do think it is a bit dry and could be tedious for kids who are not worksheet oriented, and a lot of it seems to be retelling or picking out words from the text to fill in blanks, with some application thrown in but not as much as I would have preferred. I think it will be up to the parent to bring it to life and have good discussions over each page with the child as they complete it. That said, it is not recommended until at least 4th grade and at that point, they may be more inclined to do worksheets than my 2nd grader is. Content wise, I think it’s a great solid introduction to evangelical, YEC doctrine and theology.

I really enjoy this for my oldest as it helps him to think about the questions and write what he has learned. It's a great way to get them thinking and in the word of God. My only complaint is the amount of room given for them to write. You can always use a piece of paper but I like having it all in one place. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Great way for them to be in the word and using a book from a source I trust and of course using the bible.

This is a good supplement to get more out of the Answers for Kids books. I like the thought provoking questions and ways to apply the information received in the books in a practical way.

It is so important to teach our children the truths of God's Word as a part of every day life, (Deut.6). This course presents such teaching in a way that is engaging for children. It is based on the Answers books series by Ken Ham, which provides such rich and interesting topics for discussion... you know, all those questions you had, but were afraid to ask! There's something in there for everyone to learn. The course is well presented, well organised, and succinct. Recommended.

This guide has a worksheet for each question in the Answers for Kids Books 1-8. Each Friday, or day 5, is a list of activities that goes along with what the kids learned that week. What a great way to help kids learn biblical truths! This would make a great addition to your homeschool morning basket or tea time.

This is a great resource to have to go along with the books. We have homeschooled for 12 years and I have Bible with our subjects every year. Love the set that goes with this teacher guide. It is an easy way to test their knowledge of the Bible.
