Brushing Chews® Daily Dental Treats – Small/Medium

The big question is whether the Milk-Bone Brushing Chews Daily Dental Treats are solely a treat or do they actually help in keeping the dog's teeth clean? For us, the daily dental chews seem to be both! Our dogs love the flavor and do look forward to having a morning snack. So, the treat part is clearly a success.We rescued a Jack Russell terrier who was in need of a vet visit. The vet advised a good dental cleaning for the pooch, a surgical procedure that cost $180. When we picked up the dog from the vet, we were informed that the dental cleaning would need to be an annual event.The week after this cleaning, we started to give the pooch these dental cleaning chews. After one year, the vet said that the dogs teeth looked good and that we did not need that costly cleaning this year. So, did the dental chews help or did the dog's new lifestyle make for the change? I think it was the dental chews, as we also give them to our other dog and she has yet to have a need for a dental cleaning. These dental treats will not eliminate future veterinary dental cleanings, but they sure do seem to help space those procedures out!

Not only have these greatly improved my dog's breath, but she will chew them. She's so fussy and won't even try many of the ones I've bought, but she like these. I have a 16 y.o. siberian husky who can't have her teeth cleaned by our vet any more because she's a great anesthesia risk. And she won't let me brush her teeth, so her gums and teeth were suffering. I am so glad that I found these because they work very well to improve her oral hygiene so she can continue to eat her meals. I will continue to order these because they're also sold at a reasonable price.

Its a dog treat and also helps to clean their teeth. My dog loves them and gets one every day after his evening walk. I never tasted them but he loves them so I guess the taste good. They do smell good. Don't know for sure but hopefully it is helping hid teeth.

Our Vet told use how good our dogs teeth were. It took about a month for cleaning to occur. All it took was one medium size biscuit to clean them, white and bright. Now it is one per day for maintenance. The other plus is she loves the flavor and cleans up the remains off of the floor or carpet. The bones are fresh when you first open the bag but harden quickly. The zip bag does not stay closed well and the biscuits harden quickley.Great product that works.

I purchased this product after noticing the price of other dog dental chews being much higher. I would give these a chance. The bacon smoky flavour the dog really liked and I noticed the dogs teeth getting cleaner and no longer had bad breath! I give the dog one every other day and a milk one dog biscuit in between. I am very happy with this product!

Have used the Brushing Chews for my dogs for about a year and can definitely see improvement in tartar. My vet has noted "some" tartar but has not suggested that any of the 3 need the dreaded dental. Should note that they are 10 to 12 years old too. Flavor must be good as they beg for the chews; glad I could order the larger size and limit to one per day.
