Fjällräven Unisex Kånken Sling Sports backpack (pack of 1)

I already have a totepack from this brand so I thought I’d try this sling for times when I don’t need to carry much. Well I absolutely love it! It looks great and is the usual quality you get from Fjallraven, it holds more than I expected it to and I can fit my 500ml water bottle in the main compartment with room to spare which is very handy. The smaller zipped compartment is where I’ll keep my phone, purse and keys and is easier to unzip than the main zip because it doesn’t have the lip. The small pocket at the front is very small but it’s great for doggy items like poo bags or treats. There are two tall thin pockets on either side which I’ve found hold a couple of pens or one of the mini torches. The strap extends a lot and I’ve worn it crossbody with lots of spare strap for someone larger than me such as an average size male. The clay is a lovely neutral colour that will go with most of my clothes and the bag looks really cute but not too small so that it looks like a child’s bag. I have a feeling I’m going to be grabbing for this little bag more than I do my larger ones :-D

The size is perfect for a lightweight everyday bag, good for walks or as an alternative to a hip bag. It’s compact but holds quite a lot including a phone, some snacks and I can easily fit a water bottle too! I got the Graphite colour, which is more of a dark blue/slate grey than I expected but a really good versatile colour. (It may mark easily though!) Because of the design of the zips, it catches the fabric a little which isn’t ideal for quick access, but I think it’s because the fabric is new/stiff. Assuming this will soften with use and will become easier to use over time! My first kanken but will definitely look at more colours now :)

These are fabulous, mini rucksack style, bags that are robust and certainly waterproof. A great range of colours available through Amazon sites, so plenty of options. Perhaps a little pricey at first glance but I can see these lasting years.

Why did you choose this product over others?: If you want a small bag with lots of space inside, this is the bag for you. There is a tiny pocket at the front for a lippy or something of a similar size, a zip pocket at the back perfect for a mobile phone, and a huge main compartment for your wallet and all your other daily essentials. The material is really robust and it looks awesome.

I really love this version of the kanken! It's fits all my essential and the double zip is really handy!

Bought as a present and it does what it says. It is compact and the quality is very good.

Paid too much for this bag. While it looks good, the zips get stuck a lot couldn't be bothered returning it.
