I'm a hair tool snob and have high end equipment, but needed something to throw in a carry-on for short trip touch ups. At first I thought 'how cute. It looks like a toy'. But this little device is a power house!I have long fine hair and it created great spiral curls and is hot enough to straighten my cotton candy fuzz into smooth sections.I don't recommend it however for super thick hair. The clasp may not open enough to get the amount of hair in that you're used to, and if you get it in, it may not clasp down around the hair enough. As a work around you could just take smaller sections.(PS I'm ordering another one to keep in my car. Its that good!)ProsGREAT design. Twist it one way and its a curling iron. Twist another its a flat iron - Each way it has a little handle that pops out to operate the clasp. In the middle its off.Gets hot - good and hotHeats quicklyLove the heat proof cover. Just slip it on when you're done and its ready to go into a suitcase or purse.Good packing weight and size. Even for a purse.ConsCould use two slight design adjustments.1. Tip is not heat resistant. Could be better. I'm used to a larger iron with larger tip, and one that doesn't get super warm. Only took me once to learn not to grab it like my other one. The tip isn't super hot, but its definitely not cool touch. Its grabbing the small tip too low that caused me to burn my fingers the first time I used it.2. It could use a stand. Something that keeps it up off the counter where it easily rests. I used a washcloth to protect my counter-top, but that could be dangerous if left on. Just needs something to hold it up a bit more.All in all, a wonderful, thoughtful product!

This is just okay. Yes it is a nice travel size but as mentioned in other reviews because it is small you can only do small portions of hair at a time. I have a bit thinner type hair so it’s okay. However I can’t afford to have hair pulled out! Which if you aren’t careful and in a hurry you likely will end up doing that. So for a quick touch up or in the something is better than nothing situation this iron is just okay.

I needed a smaller curling iron/straightener to take on a trip to Europe that was dual voltage. This did the trick! It was versatile in that it could be twisted one way to be curling iron and the other to be a straightener. I did carry on only so it was the perfect size.

It’s small! But that was the intention for me. Thankfully I have medium length but very thin hair so even though curling takes a while, it produces nice enough waves that the purchase was worth it to me!I don’t think this would work well for long or thick hair.

The media could not be loaded. It’s a great curling and flat iron. It may have a small barrel, but it’s still a great way to cut down on packing all your hair tools on a trip. It has great heat which really defines the curls!!! I think it’s worth it. Definitely will be packing it for my NYC Trip and future trips.

Bought this for our 30 day trip to Europe. We only took a small backpack so I needed something compact. The straightener would probably work for fine hair but didn’t for me, and even though it did an ok job of curling my hair it broke after 6 times of use. Had to trash it 2 weeks in. Bummer

The design is really quite workable. It's a quick twist to turn on & either use the straightening iron or curling iron. Both which work reasonably well.I had two concerns, one was when placing down & its turned on there is nothing that holds it away from the counter you place it on which when placing it down may cause damage to the location where placed.The 2nd concern was how safe it is on the hair. When using this I could smell a slight burning smell. My hair didn't burn off or look damaged but there is no way to control the temperature therfore leaving your locks prone to damage. Let's call that the biggest concern.I really want to like it because it's small enough & easy to use but I am still on the fence.
