However, there is an underlying interconnected conflict that plays a major part in all the books and for that reason, I highly recommend reading the books sequentially.This is my third time reading the work of Alanea Alder and I'm officially hooked! OMG, Alder's books are like potato chips; you can't stop with just one! lol... I love unique paranormal romance, addicted to danger, action, adventure & suspense, completely smitten with sexy, alpha heroes, adore sassy, courageous heroines, and there's nothing I enjoy more than a few few-bending plot twists and an infusion of laugh-out-loud humor, but when I can get it all in one well-crafted and beautifully written book, I'm in absolute heaven! And that's exactly what Alanea Alder delivered - AGAIN - in My Healer, the third full-length paranormal romance in her captivating and highly imaginative Bewitched & Bewildered Series. Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am but only for adult readers since it does contain explicit language, some violence, and steamy, dreamy sex. Will I read this author again? Absolutely which is probably the best recommendation I can give! As a matter of fact, after completing the first book of this series, I raced back to Amazon and purchased the remaining nine books, which speaks volumes as to how much I enjoyed this author's work! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! I was glued to my chair, white-knuckling my ereader, my heart fluttering wildly in my chest as the pages flew as quickly as the pages! I fell in love with handsome, loyal, and always charming wolf shifter Colton, and the lovely, kindhearted, dedicated human doctor Rheia and her adopted shifter daughter Penny truly captured my heart! Oh my, this story just ripped my heart out of my chest! I snickered, snorted, sniffled, snuffled, chuckled, and outright ugly cried through the entire story! But never fear, Colton, Rheia, and Penny do get their happy ending! But just a little warning, folks, don't start this book unless you have plenty of time; you will not want to stop until you reach the last page. I should know; I stayed up all night because I couldn't stop reading! lol... If you enjoy perilous danger, intense drama, agonizing angst, pulse-pounding action, nail-biting suspense, side-splitting humor, heartwarming romance, and a few mind-blowing plot twists that you'll never see coming, then this book is screaming your name. Once again, I love this series. We’re back for book three, which has Colton getting his mate. I loved Colton in both book one and book two. He’s sweet and fun and he’s also really protective but in this great non-overbearing way. It’s so easy to remember him curling up as a wolf and sleeping next to Meryn to make her feel better, or how when Gavriel was preventing anyone from helping Beth after an accident, Colton was willing to put himself in danger to help Beth. He’s just a great guy, so of course I was excited for him to get a mate.Honestly, the best part of this book is hands down Penny, and the second best part is Penny and Colton together. When Rheia shows up and it turns out she is both a human and has an adopted shifter daughter, it’s really not what anyone expected. But Penny is easily the greatest kid ever. Sure, she’s been traumatized so she’s basically non verbal, but she’s got such personality. I loved seeing her out there with the units and helping them train. She’s even better when she’s hustling the guys at poker. But seeing her with Colton is what takes the cake. Colton accepts her from the second he sees her, and Penny is almost as quick. They have the greatest, sweetest relationship, and you know Colton is gonna be the best dad.Rheia is not my favorite mate. She’s really reluctant, which is understood, but she basically has five adopted paranormal brothers so in so surprised at how weary she is. She’s a surgeon, and she helps out medically in this book and honestly that’s when she is in her element. Overall, in this particular book, I could take her or leave her.The plot does really start coming together in this book, we’ve got way more information, but it’s really only led to more questions, but now is where we figure out what is really going on. Darian is up next and it’s easily a favorite for me.

Several new pieces introduced to the mystery/puzzle that is weaving through the series and I love it. I still have my suspicions, but again they might be SPOILERS, so I will not share here. We are introduced to the Vanguard, which are inactive out Unit members who blend into human cities to protect paranormals & humans. Rheia's "brothers" are members of one such team: Radek Carson, Levi Sorrel, Marco Rodriguez, Dax Vi'Eaereson and Athan Durant. Also, there is a surprising twist in the epilogue, although I don't want you to look at the back of the book before reading!

Ms Alanea Alder has done it again. This is book 3 of her bewitched and bewildered series and it just gets better and better with every new book out. Rheia and Colton are so good together and the love scenes are hot!! When Colton finally meets his mate(Rheia) he gets more than he thought Rheia comes with a beautiful daughter named Penny and he instantly falls in love with his new daughter. Penny is a quiet little girl traumatized by her birth parents murder..that has all the badass warriors wrapped around her little finger. As for the interaction between all the warriors it is that of brothers and is at times hilarious. We get to visit Bart again at the duck in store and poor Keelan gets the brunt of it again...so if you haven't started this series yet what are you waiting for it is simply a wonderful read so don't miss out get your copy today. You will not regret it...

I laughed so hard I was crying. I love this series, if you need a good laugh get this book. The female characters are wonderful and their men are hilarious. Men going to buy pull ups and the crazy antics they get into have you holding your stomach with laughter. I can hardly wait for the next book in the series.

Loved Colton and Rhea! Again you bring life issues into the stories and open peoples eyes to the heartache that some suffer. You made me laugh out loud again. These books are excellent!

I absolutely loveeeee this series! I just keeps getting better and better. I can't wait to read the next instalment.
