Q: What is shelf life after opened?

Baklawa is a very delicate sweet. DO NOT BUY warehoused boxes. Zalatimo have a super expensive option on Amazon to ship fresh directly from Amman, Jordan via super expensive DHL (that passes by super hot Bahrain unfortunately). Go for that option. 2.2 lbs won't last long, so enjoy eating them all within 3-4 days after you receive them and open the fresh box. You can still stretch that to a week in the fridge. After that the freshness will start deteriorating.

Q: Are the baklava in the tin individually wrapped?

No, they are not. I have ordered them numerous times because they were always so good. However, I won’t order them again because the last tin that arrived had been opened and the baklava was dried out; I tried to contact Amazon to complain, but couldn’t’t get through. I actually threw them out.
